"To known hazards, the human animal can react with fear bleach
ed with reason. The unknown drops him back into the cave night,
into the sabered terror, awash in adrenaline, the sphincter
precarious, muscles knotted for the sideways leap, the
head-down whimpering run." -John D. MacDonald, ':
The girl, the gold watch, and everything.'

"I'll try not to leave a footprint when I go over your head"

Un enfant, c'est un insurgé. - A child is a rebel. - Simone
