Elsa and Anna are separated when Anna is involved in an accident and loses all of her memory. She is unknowingly stolen away from her life in Arendelle and is given a new name (Kristen) and a new identity. She rebuilds her life as a "neurosis nurse" and lands herself a job attending to the stunning mayor's daughter, Elsa. (Elsanna, Modern AU)

However the Countess, her manor, and the forests surrounding them harbor greater mysteries than Anna could have imagined.

Elsa runs the most notorious gang in town. Anna is on the run, and gets involved unknowingly. And when a man comes to Elsa with a bounty for the woman's head, she is all in at first, with a generous price being offered. Post-Movie. Unknown to all, Anna too has her own power, inherited by her mother, which has yet to be awoken. Now, Anna must deal with her past demons of solitude, and find a way to let Kristoff and Elsa in, in order to have the perfect life she has always dreamed of having, but before that can happen, a great evil must be destroyed, and can only be done if the prophesy comes true.

This girl looked as if she ate nails for breakfast and people for lunch, decked out in all black with the exception of the logo of some rock band on her shirt, those monstrosities in her ears about the size of nickels that surely left huge, unflattering gapes in the cartilage when taken out, and a look on her face that could make a grown man cower in fear. The kingdom of Arendelle lived happily until a trollish prophecy predicted a ruler with a frozen heart. (Early concept for Frozen which included the prophecy, but with crucial changes in the story. I just gave the prophecy a chance.)

"…Elsa," like a snowflake, the younger girl's plea drifted on a gust of icy wind, carrying just far enough for the blonde to hear the note of despair. "Please, don't let him do this!" - Leading her kingdom out of the harsh winter she created, Elsa finds warmth in her younger sister, Anna. (Incest, and very dark themes in later chapters.

Set after the movie, Elsa and Anna try to live life as normal as possible. But when a stranger comes to live in their castle and threatens to steal the heart of not only the kingdom but Elsa, conflicts ensue. (1st Elsanna fic, don't like don't read!)
