What is the DĂșnadan Project?

We are a small but (hopefully) growing group of writers who decided to pay some attention to a large but so far neglected part of Tolkien's universe: the Kings of Arnor and Gondor.

We are planning to write a series of (more or less) independent stories about the DĂșnadan Kings, enjoying the fact that there is almost nothing in canon about them that we could violate. We agreed, however, to respect every bit that is available about those people. These facts are mostly in the Appendices of LOTR 3 - The Return of the King. In order to be able to enjoy these stories you should have read the books - The Lord of the Rings at the very least.

Our stories are not being written in chronological order. The whole project will be launched in early 2003, and we will post the stories as inspiration hits us. For further information and background stuff please visit our archive:
Edhellond - The South Haven

The individual authors of this project are listed on the Favourite Authors list. For our Favourite Stories list we are looking for stories about the DĂșnadan Kings (Aragorn doesn't count, by the way). If you know of such stories that we haven't found yet, feel free to contact us.
