Especially if you you think you know since that's when you use the word "saphhic" when describing water. And believe me, it has nothing to do with pretty lakes or oceans. All it really takes is looking up a word. Guffaw: It's a bit of a pet peeve and also hilarious. IT MEANS TO LAUGH LOUDLY. It doesn't mean "gawking" or fear, and it has no business being included in a sentence describing a sprung trap or attack unless it's the Protagonists laughing at lame enemies, or vice versa. On Reviews I believe in being honest. If you love something inform the writer before or as you favorite and follow their story. Believe me it makes a writer much happier to see a review than a watch or favorite. This is why, if I read something and I love it enough to favorite I will leave a review, even if it's small it's still letting the writer know I cared enough to take the time out of my day to write them something, whether to praise or help. As for reviewing things myself... If I get the sense that the author is young I'll probably try not being as too blunt and long-winded about what needs work and what is bad. QUOTES I LOVE: "Hero worship exposes a lack of independent intellectual examination." Temperance Brennan, Bones. "I think the truly natural things are dreams, which nature can't touch with decay." Bob Dylan Learn as much by writing as by reading. Lord Acton. "No [man] is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusion are as necessary to our happiness as realities." Christian Nestell Bovee. |
