I saw the sun prickling gently over the horizon and my heart thumped with anxious honesty. It made me think of you and the end. The end, that wasn't really the end, but a beginning. A beginning of a fresh start. A new life. Finally, I could breathe again.

Sasu/Saku. Sakura has a mission. Sasuke, currently a member of Akatsuki, has one, too. Saying that he gets angry when he learns that she is in a bar flirting with his target would be an understatement. That, until he finds out the guy is her target, too.

Sakura never thought she'd see Sasuke again, but as fate would have it their missions collide and she finds her hope as been renewed...but will she be able to save Sasuke from himself in the midst of plans of war?
