Currently I'm into Death Note fanfictions. My OTP is Light and L, obviously.

Basically I don't think there is any seme-uke cliche between them, because they are equal, right? (At least L thinks so.) Everyone in every kind of relationship IS equal.

But I don't like to read seme!L fictions.

Yes, L is strongest and smartest character in Death Note, unquestionably.

And Yagami Light is weak and pathetic, literally.

But since when I should buy such man-is-strong-and-woman-is-weak-and-during-sex-woman-natually-bottom crap into YAOI?

Since when TOP must be stronger than BOTTOM?

Since when BOTTOM cannot be in control? Women can easily control men through sex, although they are considered as so called damn BOTTOM.

Yes, I'm kinda feminist but I'm a girl with ego and self-esteem, OK? You can't blame me when I insist women and men are equal.

The only reason I like uke!L is because L is cuter, much cuter than Yagami Light.

Yes, I HATE Yagami Light, thank you very much. Sadly he is the closest friend and foe of L.

And L is mentally, if not physically, stronger than Light. But he is uke. Because? It's cute.

I don't judge seme or uke by any kind of strength, anyway.

For instance, when it comes to Mello and Near, I will picture they take in turn. Because I like them both, and seme!Near is as cute as seme!Mello. The same applies to Harry and Draco.

I think many people tend to put their preferable character into uke, right? Understandable. So do I.

You can't let me picture Light as uke! That is not hot! NOT AT ALL!
