Has been a quote that resonated with me for a significant amount of my Y/A life. Penned by Nikita Gill, I took to it like a duck to water. I realised I wanted to be that person. I wanted to help people who were struggling, I wanted to be a distraction or an anchor or even a pair of ears and a shoulder to cry on. I write because I love it. Her writing shows humor and pain equally, and her writing is poetic and enthralling without being pretentious with needless metaphors. Once I started writing, I took inspiration from many.
