That dream was crushed before it was ever given a chance to begin. Now, though, things are different. Thanks to Roman Torchwick, he's found one thing he's good at: crime.

Inspired by Coeur Al'Aran's Professor Arc story, this asks the simple question: What if Jaune had actually attended the Vacuo Academy for Gifted Youths as he claimed? Between a fake resume, a sociopath for a partner, criminal contacts, White Fang agents, and overall bad luck... it's going to take everything he's got keep his cover at Beacon.

So curious in fact, that she wanted to get to know the boy that had saved her life on the floor of a destroyed ice-cream shop.

In the aftermath of the Fall of Beacon, Jaune Arc and Neo find themselves near breaking under the weight of loss and despair. In a chance encounter the pair are soon forced to combine forces in order to not only survive but succeed in a newly awaken world around them. Human and Grim monsters robbed them of dear companions, so maybe other monsters can bring them closure.
