Me

I'm actually a college professor by trade, so while I am a fair technical writer, I can't claim experience writing fiction. I'm married (20+ years) and have an uncomfortably precocious female child - which my father finds rather amusing.

Fandom

I do quite a bit of reading though for pleasure I mostly enjoy science fiction and fantasy. Most recently, urban fantasy such as the Dresden Files and similar takes on old myths in a modern world make the bulk of my library. I have played RPGs since well before they had that name. I remember when DnD was Chainmail. I play pretty much anything Bioware publishes (with the notable exception of Star Wars). Neverwinter Nights is still installed on my desktop.

My Xbox 360 is my primary console, on which I play Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Oblivion, CoD MW2, Bioshock, and a few others. PS3 games include Heavy Rain, Resistance 2, and Netflix, for when I just want some old school film (THEM!).
