Hi, I'm justsomepeople. I joined fanfiction.net, because after playing and finishing Mass Effect 3. I was just so disapointed and saddened that I just had to find an other ending. I eventually wound up on this site and spent about four months reading as much stories as I possibly could. I was sick for the first month and spent atleast 12 hours every day reading stories and the next three months. I still read for atleast 4-12 hours (or more) every day. Ofcourse, eventually I just had to end up at stories about Naruto and Harry Potter, because I've read the books and manga and discovered I quite like reading fanfiction. So I spent, another three months reading as much as I possibly could. When I was done I just hated myself. What am I doing with my life? Instead of reading all these stories I should just go out and enjoy life! So I've ended up reading maybe one or two stories each week and reading up on the new chapters of all the stories I'm following. I mostly enjoy the stories that make me laugh or have a really good plot. I don't care particularly much for slash, but I can overlook it if the story is good or just funny. I don't enjoy reading angsty stories at all. In fact, I absolutely hate them. I'd prefer a boring story where practically nothing happens, but the characters are happy and have a good life over a story with an excellent plot where the characters have a unfortunate life. The only exception I've found so far is "The Kaleidoscope of Magic" by karldin. And I even disliked it the first few chapters because I felt bad for Harry. My favorite stories are just stories that I think are really well written and/or made me laugh out loud. I probably won't end up writing anything myself because my English isn't good enough for that and you'd end up with paragraphs that make no sense. |
