I'm supposed to tell something about me here, isn't it?

Well, I'm a 20 year old Dutch Earth Sciences student with a Harry Potter Addiction. The past moths I've just been reading fan fiction but recently I decided to try myself at writing. I'm not such a great fan of one shots, I like longer stories in which there is time for some actual change, and more subtle plots.

I'm not a native speaker, nor would I call myself fluent, but since I have dyslexia I'm used to making many mistakes and have learned to three double check everything, so I hope that you're not noticing it too often

My Harry Potter addiction was actually slowly dying, until someone got me into reading fan fiction, which has me completely hooked. Next to Harry Potter I usually read a lot ‘normal' fiction, loads of fantasy, bit science fiction and some historical novels as well.

I've been described as odd or eccentric, have three younger sisters and have a perfectly normal family, or not according to some. But since I'm writing this I say it is.

At the moment I am writing, but I'm just starting so it may take a while; I want to have a firm start before posting anything, for at the moment I'm still changing loads of details.

(27th of January, 2010) Right, I haven't updated in more that 1.5 years.

While I never quit writing, I could never be bothered to type that what I had written. I have bits of all kinds of chapters, but didn't write the necessary parts that would have competed the chapter.

And I haven't even recovered the things I still have since my computer crashed in early December, which was pretty sad btw, since I lost at least 9 moths of work in the areas that I had on the computer.

But I kind of found new motivation: I will have at least one chapter out by the end of my 2.5 week holiday + retyped all my notes and outlines which I lost due to the crash.

And you are allowed to bother me if I didn't do that by February 14th!
