Author has written 1 story for EVE Online. Well, I just started writing my first story on here. I can already tell that it will be enormous, no small thanks to my significant prowess at using fifty words where ten will suffice ;-) I personally like having more, rather than less, information when reading, which probably influences that. I hope I am not alone in this, and that others may enjoy some of the things I am writing about in the story. It's in a rather obscure fandom, I think is accurate to say, but I really only used the universe as a background to write about transcendental issues that are applicable in any situation. Love can truly take many forms, as can other types of human relationships, and one of my interests is exploring the boundaries of those, wherever that may lead. It is very satisfying to write these things out like this, so if anyone else enjoys reading about it, too, that's merely a (wonderful) optionality :-) I spend most of my time thinking about massively abstract issues, the role and origin of morality, why and how we interact with each other as human beings both in the context of romantic relationships, and platonic ones. Whether there is necessarily a hard difference between the two. What we should be exploring in the Universe to better understand our place in it. All the trivial issues, in other words *grins* Please feel free to shoot me a PM, I love talking to people and would gladly discuss whatever it is that interests you. Whether it's some philosophical point you thought about, or that I raised here or in the story, I'm always eager to hear another's perspective on it. It truly is the best way to learn and grow. That, and by putting your fingers in fires when you shouldn't. Not that I know about that method of experimental learning, of course... I'm almost done with chapter 5 (well, 6 the way FFN is counting). It's another 17-18k words and it would have been up last week, but grad school has been insane and I haven't had the energy to write for a few days. But it'll go up before the end of February! |
