With Legolas's help, she pursues the orcs hunting the dwarves to Laketown, where the Elves rescue Kili and the others. This will be the first installment to a three part story, the second and third being two alternative endings.

For 20 years, they scrounged an existence in the cities of man. 30 years into exile, they went to fight the orks in Moria, with disastrous results. In another 40 years, the dwarves of Erebor found prosperity in Ered Luin, but not solace. It took even longer for this Daughter of Durin to find her own way...and herself.

Tauriel saves Kili during BOTFA, but Fili is not so lucky. With the Crown Prince in critical condition and a dark power attempting to take over, the elf and dwarf join forces to save Kili's brother. Will they be successful? Another Fix-it fiction, because we love Kili/Tauriel and can't let the romance die with the movies!

Everyone survives the Battle of Five Armies, but that's not the end of the road for Kili and Tauriel. What world - what future is there for an Elf and a Dwarf who refuse to be parted from one another again? And how do they get there?

How do you pass on when you're leaving everything you never knew you ever wanted behind? what would you do if you could go back? What could have been will always be the most daunting question...

Alternate ending to BOTFA. Kili and Tauriel are able to slay Bolg, but the battle leaves her badly injured. Further complication arise when King Thranduil blames the two for the death of his son and Kili is willing to lay down his own life to ensure her survival.

Fili, Kili, and Tauriel all survive the Battle of Five Armies, and they all live happily ever after. But happy endings don't always come easily, and it seems that the only two people in Middle-Earth who like the idea of an elf and a dwarf being married are the elf and the dwarf. Kiliel AU with a fair amount of Fili and Kili brotherly love thrown in for good measure.

This is an alternate storyline I started quite a bit ago, picking up from the end of "Desolation of Smaug." Mostly a deeper exploration of Kili and Tauriel's relationship, hopefully it's enjoyable though. :)

Fili and Kili had always been together, travelling the same roads, walking the same paths. But there came a time in their final journey together that they had come to part ways, where the road branches. [KilixTauriel, told through the perspective of Fili]

Andreth wished for more time, and so did he, but what such a wish implied was so different for each of them. And as she sat alone on the steps beneath the dome of the sky, she wondered if the time she had to offer could ever be enough.

I didn't like the way they portrayed the sudden one night romance of Tauriel and Kili, not only that but they made the dwarves the captives of the elves for a night. They were in the dungeons of the elves for much longer than that in the book. This is my take on how the feelings between Kili and Tauriel blossomed slowly and turned into what it became. Stories in the moonlight.

With their house in ruins from an Orc attack, their father in prison, and two siblings (not to mention several Dwarves) to care for, Sigrid has other things to worry about than making sure a sick Dwarf eats his gruel.
