Modern AU, Anna is 15 and Elsa is 21. Elsa and Anna Arendelle weren't what you called "close", especially since Elsa had shut Anna out since childhood, but this all changes when they're all they had left. When their parents die, Elsa gains legal guardianship over Anna, and she's forced to let her in, and the two sisters have a lot of making up to do.

Ever since she was young, Anna has been in her sister’s shadow. After the Thaw, behind the utter joy of having her sister back, her self-doubt returns as she witnesses how perfect her sister is. After an argument with Elsa, everything reaches a boiling point. But thankfully, despite being separated for so long, Elsa still knows how to cool her down and fix it.

No one cares or thinks much of her, after all, she was just the spare. Right?

Anna falls off her bed one morning, but Elsa knows just how to make her feel better.

What really happened after Hermione had to face the troll? Of course, Harry and Ron saved her, but is a first year muggle born student really fine after such an incident? Anna has a nightmare one night after the Great Thaw.

Elsa is acting very differently, and Anna wants to know why. Sisterly fluff. Expect to be hit by the feels train.

Elsa is just recently understanding the depth and extent of Anna's antics and is struggling with the need to protect her younger sister. When Elsa goes overboard in her attempts, Anna is left angry with her and a terrible accident occurs. Will Elsa be able to save her sister? Sisterly feels, no romance whatsoever.

Anna wants Elsa to come fly kites with her, but Elsa is too busy with work to do so. Upset by this, Anna goes kite flying by herself, only to end up in a dangerous situation.

After the events of Frozen, this drabble series focuses on the relationship between Anna and Elsa and how they make up for the 13 years they've lost. They share laughs, fights, tears, and pain as Elsa continues to struggle with moments of anxiety and tries to mend her bond with Anna, who is more than happy to have her sister in her life again.

Upon their arrival, Karen, the younger of the two, reveals that she shares similar powers to Elsa and the two of them bond. Soon after, Anna relives the years of Elsa shutting her out. Jealousy ensues.

Bypassing the chaos of the courtyard in favor of getting Elsa to bed as quickly as possible, Anna reflects on the definition of a perfect day. Anna and Elsa have their own special goodnight ritual, but sadly something was forgotten this time. Elsa finds Anna suffering a nightmare and gladly calms her down.

When Anna has a nightmare one night, Elsa comforts her. As a result, their sisterly bond grew even stronger. Inspired by one of my favorite Anna/Elsa fics, "I'll Always Be Here for You," by HAFanForever.

Anna's broken, alone, feeling as if she needs to mourn the loss of Elsa just like she had her parents whom passed away in that fateful storm. Only Elsa is very much alive but just out of reach. Anna's desperation for her sister's love causes her to break and she pleads with a door that may or may not open. (Be wary after the time break, lots of Smut&Fluff.)

Elsa has not seen Anna all day, she starts to grow worried. One-shot.

Elsa was weeping uncontrollably now, frost has started to gather at her feet but she couldn't care less. She was just rejected by the only person that she loved, Anna. The two sisters have an argument, and Elsa tries to make up with her baby sister.

Elsa is unable to sleep and, unbeknownst to her, her sister is having the same problem after awakening from a nightmare. Though unfortunate, this happenstance gives Elsa the opportunity to fill a role she has neglected for far too long.

How much Elsa loves her baby sister, Anna.

Anna asks Elsa to sign a contract that requires them to spend time with each other. Promises of fluff and drama with loosely tied Christmas oriented drabbles.

Anna has a fever and Elsa's worried sick.

In the weeks after Anna's near-death, Elsa is feeling incredibly guilty for what she did to her sister.

(In which Anna tries to discover her non-existent hidden talent, Kristoff is very creepily enamored by ice, and Elsa is just laughing like mad.)

The fever keeps Anna in bed for days.

Post movie: Even a bubbly, optimistic princess can be as broken and scarred as a Snow Queen. Anna shows this when she learns the truth about what happened years ago from the trolls, and is furious - at the trolls for scaring her vulnerable family that night, at her family for being so scared, and at everyone for not giving her and Elsa a chance - or choice - to turn out different.

This is based off the end of the movie when everyone is ice skating on the ice rink Elsa made at the castle. Elsa goes into her room to take a little break and reflects on how her relationship with her sister, Anna, has changed for the better by looking at pieces of paper she kept as mementos when Anna slipped them underneath her door. When a young Anna has a horrible nightmare, the only one she wants is Elsa. Will Elsa be able escape her fears to comfort her sister or will she let them control her?

Elsa catches a cold that causes her powers to act up a little. Anna decides to take care of her in her time of need. Elsa then realizes that she haven't did anything nice for her sister so she leaves, making Anna think of old memories. Did she really mean Anna to think that or something else?

How does one respectfully be inconsolable? To cry or to comfort in the correct way? Elsa doesn't know how, but maybe her sister could teach her? If Anna succeeds, surely Elsa will owe her more than just a snowman.

Apparently one of the sisters is terrified of thunderstorms! Will a closed door open? One-shot plot bunny that's been bugging me all day.

Anna has a nightmare that nothing has changed and that Elsa is still distant with her. But it's fine because it was all just a dream. Wasn't it? Minor spoilers for film.
