![]() Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter. Update, 9/8: Holy crap, y'all, I'm in Ireland! Classes started this week and the education system here is so different and I think it'll take me a bit to adjust, but once I acclimate here I should be able to get back into writing. I know I said I'd get to work when I got home from school last month but packing your entire life into 3 bags is a lot more stressful than I thought it would be and I didn't have the time. I'm really hoping to jump back in as soon as I can, but for now I'm just trying to figure my classes out, plus I'm totally catching feels for this guy but we've only known each other for a week and I've never done the whole dating thing before and I'm scared to death. Other than that, though, everything here is okay and I promise I haven't abandoned Natural Disaster, I just haven't been able to work on it. I really hope I'll see y'all again soon and I'm really sorry for the wait! What have I been working on: Published: Not Even the Rain is pretty much just fluff. It's light and quick and full of Sevmione goodness. It's actually my first (completed) one-shot, so I'd appreciate any feedback :) *Complete!* Oh, and of course there's my holiday fic, My True Love Gave to Me. It's loosely taken from the 12 Days of Christmas, with each chapter following the development of Severus and Hermione's relationship over the course of twelve years. *Complete!* Enough for Now (titled after the song of the same name by The Fray) is the first story I've ever sat down and gotten around to writing. It gets off to a rough start, but I solemnly swear that it will eventually be happy and sweet. Hermione has to work through a lot of emotional issues, and Severus is there to do whatever he can for her; they fall in love along the way. It is most definitely an alternate universe, and they may be a little out of character, but I like sweet-Severus. It goes to show how much has changed since the war; it's the first time he's been allowed to live his own life in the past two decades! Cut him some slack. *Complete!* My second story, Natural Disaster(named after the song by City and Colour) is about as dark as Enough for Now, if not more so. Ron will be thoroughly bashed- did I mention I can't stand Ron?- and in the process, Severus helps Hermione find herself again after a very unfortunate chain of events. Let me also just say that this one's taken quite a few unplanned turns already. I'll just be sitting around, then a thought hits me, and I just go with it. I plan my writing with a very loose outline, if I plan at all. It's been really interesting to see where it wants to go!*Please, please note that there are dark themes in Enough for Now and Natural Disaster. Rape occurs in both, and in Enough for Now, Hermione has flashbacks and panic attacks. If you don't like this kind of stuff, please don't read it. I really don't want to add scarred readers for life to my resume.* Not Yet Published: The one-shot that I forgot about is really cute and happy (I think; I haven't looked at it recently). I have it on my Google drive, but I never transferred it to this computer after my old one crashed in May, so I completely forgot that it existed. From what I remember of it, it was post-war and Hermione was a professor. She ran into Severus (literally) in a corridor, dropped a bunch of stuff, and as he helped her pick it up, something caught his interest. I'm pretty sure a piano was involved...? I've just planned out a Drarry oneshot that is currently without a title, but I do know this much: it is inspired (to some degree) by "The Run and Go" by twenty one pilots, but probably won't be a songfic; the time frame should be 5th year to the beginning of 7th year; and the Room of Requirement is where basically the whole thing should take place. Keeping on the Drarry track, this next one will probably be chaptered and also has no name. I can tell you this much: this will be my first time writing in first person; it will alternate between post-war and flashbacks; and Draco will be the one telling the story. |
