I am convinced that all disease is curable and results from deficiency, toxicity, or infection. We are responsible for our health, what we do to our bodies or allow to be done. It’s amazing to me that despite living in such a high-tech world with all its achievements we still are so ignorant and stubborn about wise living. Initially scared and not wanting to let pride keep me from anything I thought, “Well, you’re in way over your head and you better listen to the pros.” My doc at Kaiser even called me Dr. Gayle to give you an idea of how I came across. I decided to try the recommended methotrexate. I took 2 doses, 7.5 mg once a week for 2 weeks. They said I wouldn’t notice anything for about 4-6 weeks but I knew different. After 4 days I felt a sort of shutting down internally that of course quieted things down. But an intensely itching rash began on my upper chest, so sensitive that I couldn’t even wear silk without discomfort. I took the second dose on a Friday and Sunday afternoon while sitting at a park picnic my throat swelled up about a quarter. The itching continued and by now was like a burning from the inside with even the skin itself thinned out and of a different texture. The doc said stop for 2 weeks and resume. It’s a good thing it was a half dose they gave me. I had by then consulted with my first alternative doc and even though he had said I should try the drug, after the side efffects he said to discontinue and not resume. I was already convinced not to of course and felt that I tried their way and that was enough evidence for me to look elsewhere. Check out my website here #links# My websites: Osteopathy and Arm Pain
