![]() Author has written 5 stories for Bleach. Don't mind me. I'm merely a ghoul with no face who likes to write. *Edit: (3/23/2016) I'm hoping to make an eventual return here. As of yet, I don't know when that will be. Things have been getting better. My doctor got me on medication for my bipolar disorder, and my chronic illness seems to have calmed considerably. It may even be calmed down enough for me to focus on writing. Stories are still currently on hiatus, but I'm combing through them and relearning my old concepts, and maybe there will be some new content up soon. Feel free to message me about concerns, harass me to update, etc. Or to just chat. That's always nice.* PLOT BUNNIES: Here lie my plot bunnies. These are ideas that have come to me, in various stages of development. Feel free to look them over, pester me about starting one, or even try adopting it yourself (although, if you do decide to write out one of them, I'd love if you'd let me know you are using it; I'd like to see how you write it). A Freakshow: Ichigo is a performer for a circus/freakshow, run by Kurotsuchi Mayuri. He has no memory of his past, and tends to have a blank and distant look in his eyes when he's performing. Sometimes, he gets brief flashes of memories of his past with his family. To get a feel for what I was going for, you might try Dark Wood Circus (Vocaloids). That's what inspired this. Shop of Desires: A strange shop that sells your desires... for a price. Shiro is the owner of the shop, Ichigo wanders in one day since this shop has literally appeared out of thin air in the middle of town. He's curious and finds many odd trinkets, some pretty, some horrifying, and some that sporadically gain sharp-toothed mouths that snap and bite at him. As he nearly loses a finger to one of these strange trinkets that tried to bite him, Shiro appears quite suddenly behind him and tells him, "I wouldn't touch that if I were you. It's reserved... for someone else." Shiro then asks if Ichigo would like to purchase any desires, that he can tailor it to perfectly fit him. Ichigo finds the entire ordeal odd and disturbing, and thus leaves. However, he's inevitably drawn back to the shop later on and asks a question that changes Fate for both of them, "Aren't you lonely here?" As if he'd spoken some magically binding words to him, Shiro's once dull, lifeless eyes lit up with an almost insane glow, "And if I say I am? Would you keep me company?" To get a feel for what I was going for, you might try The Maker, which can be found on youtube. If you type that in, it will be the first video that appears. A warning that the video uses dolls and may come across as... creepy. But then, if you like Bleach and hollow masks and all that junk, you should be fine. Something involving demons, because who doesn't like demons?: This is perhaps my least elaborated upon plot-bunny. I got the idea while watching Hakkenden Touhou, but essentially I got the idea for a romance/horror(mystery?) type fanfiction. I hadn't even decided what characters to use for this idea. Basically, Character A (a demon) falls in lust at first sight with Character B (a human), and because demons are commonly known to be anywhere from morally gray to just plain immoral, this demon decides to show his/her affection for Character B. How does Character A do it? By killing anyone who so much as looks at Character B wrong, of course! What's more, Character B doesn't even realize at first that someone's killing off his/her adversaries, enemies, rivals, etc. When he/she does, it comes as a chilling shock when Character B makes the connection of who's been getting systematically murdered. Can Character B teach Character A a little bit of compassion, or was this relationship doomed from the start? (The concept is fairly weak in my opinion, but what the hey. I'm a junkie for demonic romance. Or fantasy romance in general. And murder, evidently.) A strange child: (Note that this was originally intended be a yaoi concept, but can easily be converted to hetero. PS: NOT an m-preg story.) Ichigo and... someone. Let's call them Character B for now. Ichigo and Character B find a child who is, strikingly, the spitting image of both of them, but how? What's more, the kid says that they are his/her parents. How could this be possible? And why are people in white lab coats and faceless masks trying to attack this child? Ichigo and Character B must join hands as one to protect this child and get to the bottom of this! (My sister suggests using Ichigo and Byakuya, for comedy's sake.) Hakkenden Touhou Bleach Crossover: I had a brief idea for a crossover between the two, in which essentially it's the Bleach characters, but in the Hakkenden Touhou universe. So Ichigo would be like Shino, a person who died at roughly 13 and became bonded to a demon eating weapon, Shiro/Zangetsu (the equivalent of Murasame... maybe he'd take the form of a white raven... blah). So like Shino, Ichigo would be kind of permanently 'a child'. I hadn't gotten much further on this concept than the initial desire for a crossover. I just thought it could be cool, but unfortunately, I couldn't think of how to 'bring something new to the table' for this particular concept. I don't want to do a rewrite of the Hakkenden Touhou story line, only with Bleach characters, because in that case people could just watch or read Hakkenden Touhou. I also didn't want to make it too much like Bleach. Thus, I was left at a stalemate. The Demonic Guardian: Not much on this idea currently. It would probably be a Naruto fanfiction, but I got an idea involving a 'demonic guardian' that keeps intruders out of the village (and coincidentally terrifies outsiders due to his disposition for being unmerciful and a tendency to cause ruthless carnage). If more ideas for this one come to me, I'll elaborate more, maybe. I suppose it would probably be more of a story about someone befriending the 'scary guardian'. That stuff's always romantic. “No, no! The adventures first, explanations take such a dreadful time.” "If you can tell stories, create characters, devise incidents, and have sincerity and passion, it doesn’t matter a damn how you write." "It is perfectly okay to write garbage—as long as you edit brilliantly." "Any man who keeps working is not a failure. He may not be a great writer, but if he applies the old-fashioned virtues of hard, constant labor, he’ll eventually make some kind of career for himself as writer." "First, find out what your hero wants, then just follow him!" "Don’t try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It’s the one and only thing you have to offer." "The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud." You can love a monster, it can even love you back, but that doesn’t change its nature. "You don't really understand an antagonist until you understand why he's a protagonist in his own version of the world." |
