![]() Author has written 5 stories for Merlin. Several years later... (Jan 2019) Just an update to let people know that I'm officially gone. I apologise for my stories that will remain forever unfinished but my life has moved on. Don't expect me to read or respond to reviews or messages. For now I will leave my works up solely those who continue to read and enjoy them, even after all this time. However, at some future point when my feelings of embarrassment towards my past self become too great I may choose to vanish entirely. Consider this your friendly forewarning. One last thank you to all my readers. You are wonderful! ABOUT MY STORIES My favourite genre to write is humour. If I can put a smile on at least one other person's face then I consider it worthwhile. I hope I can make a few people laugh as I dabble in writing. I'm not a huge romance fan and it's also one thing I really can't write. This means you won't find a lot of romance in my stories and I stick to only canon pairings. Also, if you're looking to read anything (ahem) of an explicit nature I'm sure you'll find it, just not here. I mostly enjoy Merlin and Arthur friendship and that tends to be my focus. I try to stay faithful to the tone of the actual show (although I appreciate that this is subjective) but you should note that I don't always take it very seriously. I'm fully aware that I include minor anachronisms in my stories here and there, which are intended as a light-hearted nod to the programme itself and not a sign of my ignorance, although I do have as much of that as the next person. I am not as well versed in Arthurian legend as other people may be on this site, but I sometimes try and reference and rework some aspects into my writing in so far as I can Google. The spells I use in my Merlin stories are Old English but due to my lack of knowledge in languages and the limitations of an online translator, there will undoubtedly be errors. Finally. . . humongous thank you to everyone who has reviewed or favourited or even just read any of my stories. I genuinely do appreciate it and it makes me really happy to know that people are actually interested in reading this rubbish. |
