Author has written 24 stories for Doctor Who, Bible, and Torchwood. Every character an author creates is a fractured reflection of their own heart. Which is completely true, and I agree with it whole-heartedly. The really basic facts/disclaimers about and for me are these: 1. Yah, I live in America. This gives me the right to make as much fun of my home country as I want to. If I insult some fellow American, I'm sorry, but you know it's true. I still think America is the best place in the world to live. 2. If I insult some mega Who-fan by not getting the Doctor just right, I apologize again. 3. Same goes for British people in general. I've never actually met someone from Britain, so I'm just winging it. If any of the characters sound too American, sorry. 4. It should be obvious, but I don't own any characters from Doctor Who. Well, none of the recognizable ones, anyway. I think that covers just about everything. 7-24-2012 A few days ago I put up a new story for Doctor Who, this time with Eleven. It's sort of an apology to all the faithful readers from my last series, "American Bred," for ending it in spite of the protest of my followers. Speaking of "American Bred," I have decided that my stories, particularly some of the early ones, require drastic improvement. Thus, I am re-working the worst ones, starting with 'Energy Crisis.' Nothing new is being added to the story-line, but I want to make all the pieces fit better and to make the individual stories sound better in general. The whole story will be updated at once, with no pattern as to how often I'll be able to put in the update. I'll let you know when the new versions go up. As I said before, nothing new will be added to the stories; not characters or plot twists or anything. Just a better way of telling the story. 5-24-2013 Okay, so to all faithful readers (the probably one person out there) my real life friends have convinced me to write a new story, but still for Kathryn. Therefore, Episode Nine in the REDONE series will not be "Stuff of Legends" as it is in the original. Unlike the other REDONEs, it will be posted a chapter at a time. The rewriting of the Original Episodes will then resume. Also during this summer, I hope to finally finish the re-write of Episode Three, "One Shot." This is not a guarantee. Should anyone actually want it, send me a note. |
