Author has written 2 stories for Twilight. HI! Wow, I have a page on the internet all to myself, I'm not quite sure what I should do with it... Here have some random things I just thought of... A name is only as important as you let it be No one in this world has free will, we are all simply products of our past and the natural personality we were born with and all the choices we will or have made have already been predetermined. (If this theory depresses you then feel free to argue with me cause I love arguing but in the end believe whatever you want, it's not really your choice anyway XD.) According to Newton; Work=Force x distance. So for every day of your life where you get up from bed in the morning and go to sleep in the same place you have done NO WORK. (Lazy bastards) Common sense isn't all that common Trial and error is not the best method to work out a solution, but if it's the only one you've got you should go for it! Whoever said "high school years are the best years of your life" had a really crap life. At one point in the Earth's history, the oxygen content of the plant was 40 higher then it is now and insects grew to the size of dogs. Hearing this made me want to put a spider in a jar and increase the oxygen content to see if I could get something big enough to play fetch. Being invisible is a lot harder than most people think, it's like playing misere, it's harder to lose every trick then it is to win just a few. In non card terms, being a complete loser takes effort. The only fan fiction I'm really interested in is Twilight, but I HATE the books! The second one was the best cause I didn't have to put up with Edward, but I skipped most of it because I couldn't stand listening to Bella whine about there being no Edward. My favorite moment was when she jumped off the cliff. My chief problem with the books is that the two main characters don't actually have personalities. The only thing Edward thinks about is Bella and he will predictably try to put Bella in a glass box so she can't hurt herself and he can stare at her all day. The only thing Bella thinks about is sex with Edward. Not what an amazing person he is, or how loving he is, it's always - wow he's so hot I wonder why he won't sleep with me...did anyone else notice that that couple didn't actually have a conversation that didn't involved; the pros/cons of being a vampire or Bella's safety? And ok, I can sort of deal with the fact that Edward is over 100 years old and dating a minor (she's 17 in the first book) simply because some part of him will always be a teenager. But I absolutely can not deal with the fact that Jacob has sexual feelings for a new born!! And for that matter, if Jacob was crushing on Bella cause she was part of Renesmee why the hell didn't he crush on Edward too? Answer me that?! The whole "baby" thing just pisses me off. Cause 3 days after giving birth and not having seen her child, Bella's first thoughts weren't "Oh my gosh is my baby ok!" It was "Wow my husband is hot. Lets go have sex!"And we come back to the "no personality" problem. Real life situation: Babies put strain on marriages and life in general gets put on hold because you are desperately trying to raise this child. Myer's fantasy: All kids are born with teenage brains without having experienced the world and the parents should just go ahead and continue on with their lives, the kids will raise themselves. The entire series condones and encourages; teen pregnancy, abusive behavior in relationships, cult activity, dismissal of authority, self destructive behavior, pedophile tendencies and stalking. Ok, I'm done with my Twilight rant. Personally I enjoy Bellice ships because at the beginning of the book Bella actually had some sembelance of a character and with Alice she shows that she is some sort of person - the fact that they can talk about more then becoming a vampire and sex helps. And Alice always has a personality so she's just awesome all the time. And that's all I've got peoples... |
