![]() Author has written 4 stories for Sly Cooper, and Detective Conan/Case Closed. God, it's about time I finally filled this thing out. I've left it blank for so long it's not even funny - well actually, it kind of is, but that's not the point. Anyway...Sup, guys? I'm Sushizuzoru, or just Sushi for short. A weird nickname, I know, especially considering the fact I hate fish. So why is it my screenname and nickname, then? Well, I got bored, and googled up Pocket Monsters, looking through their japanese names; one of my favorite pokemon, Scizor, was named Sushizuzoru. Now, I don't know if it was even correct, but it had a nice ring to it, and so I kept it. Funny story, eh? Hilarious. Thank you. Warning: If you don't want to read through all of my rambling, simply skim through for the bolded words. They're what makes me...me. Err...about me, I'm still in school, I'm in the prime of my youth, and I just don't give a damn. Personality wise, I'm one of those cynical bastards people just prefer to ignore, which is probably for the best. I'm not very friendly, and I tend to snap quite easily. And then, there's the biting sarcasm as well, which might also have something to do with my lack of friends. Appearance wise, I'm average. Basically, to sum it all up, I'm one of those quite book worms that hides in the back, ignored by everyone else. And you know what? That works just fine for me. I've never been good at socializing, and after all, it's always the quite ones...Mentally wise? I'll admit it, I have a few screws loose, but taking numerous factors into account, it's a miracle I'm even remotely sane. I've been dropped/hit on my head so many times since I was a child that it's amazing I haven't gone brain dead yet. My father dropped me in the pool when he was using me as a football, nearly drowning me, my drunken stepmother dropped me on my head, my brother turned the dryer on on me during our game of hide-and-go-seek, my other brother nearly pounded my skull in with a meat mallet, and the list can go on and on; the sad thing is, all of this happened before I was even five. With the following years, I slowly began to lose what I had left of my brain cells; my family has never been a good influence, and with only one younger sibling, I was preyed upon by my siblings quite often. Putting all of this into consideration, as well as the slight ADD, I stand before you today as I am, imensely intelligent, yet stupendously stupid all the while. I find that I contradict myself at times, having a moment of sheer genius, only to then draw a blank, confounded; as it stands, not even I can understand what goes on inside of my head. But, then again, perhaps it is best not to ask; some mysteries are better left unsolved, after all. Now, on the topic of mysteries, it is safe to say that I am a mystery otaku, as well was a puzzle fanatic, as they often tie together. My favorite mystery authors are Conan Doyle, Sue Grafton, and Gosho Aoyama; I enjoy flipping through the pages, scanning for evidence, decking out deductions, and solving the case before the story ends. My heart always swells up with pride - as well as my ego - when I solve a case before reaching the end; it doesn't happen often, but it's something I can be proud of. Of course, I'll never be able to beat my favorite detective, Sherlock Holmes, but then again, who can? I can hardly even comprehend his train of thought until the very end, and I always laugh at the simplicity of it all. I have a tendency for overthinking; I need to apply logic to every little detail, and that's what always drags me down. It's that same tendency that keeps me from being any good at puzzles, no matter how much I may love them; I always overlook the key to the answer, no matter how simple. Despite my lack of skills, I do love them, though; this is why I'm absolutely enthralled with the puzzle game, Professor Layton. It took me months to solve on my own, no cheating whatsoever, but it had well been worth it; the puzzles were fantastic, the cutscenes amazing, and the story-line absolute genius, incredibly original. I'm a notorious female gamer, but that game will always remain number one for me. As for gaming, I'm game for any game, in all honesty. Of course, I'm partial to RPG, Logic, and Action games, but I will play pretty much play anything. Currently, my favorite games include Tales of Symphonia, Trauma Center, Sly Cooper, Kingdom Hearts, and Professor Layton. Seeing as it could fit into the same category as games, I guess I might as well ramble on about anime as well, just to get it out of the way. Yes, I'll admit it, I enjoy watching anime; I guess you could say I'm just clinging to those few precious memories of my childhood, and cartoons had made up a great deal of my childhood. My favorite animes include Meitantei Conan, Hoshi No Kaabii, Card Captor Sakura, Magic Kaitou, Full Metal Alchemist, and Death Note. My favorite cartoons include Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob, Danny Phantom, Total Drama Island, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Phineas and Ferb, Mighty B, Penguins of Madagascar, El Tigre, and Making Fiends. My favorite movies/musicals include Nightmare before Christmas, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Cats, Coraline, Corpse Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wicked, Rent, Mama Mia, Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa, and Bolt. I don't watch real television; it's for squares. Well, seeing as I'm bouncing everywhere from topic to topic, I might as well go back to the top; I said I was a book worm, did I not? My favorite novels include Eragon, Dragon Rider, Sherlock Holmes, James and the Giant Peach, Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and many more; my all-time favorite author is Conan Doyle, of course. And that's it; now you know me better than I know the back of my own hand. At last, we've reached the end. Kudos to you if you actually read through all of that, and if you didn't, I can't say I blame you; that is why I threw in the bolded words, after all. Of course, I'm not finished yet; scroll down to continue on. If you want to leave, though, it's only a click away; have a nice day. ~My favorite pairings~ 1.) I prewarn all: This account will indeed have a lack of canon, so don't be surprised when it's flooded with crack; well-written crack, but still crack. ~My Most Disliked Pairings~ 1.) Tales of Symphonia - Lloyd X Colette and Kratos X Raine 2.) Sly Cooper - None 3.) Professor Layton - None 4.) Meitantei Conan - Shinichi X Ran 5.) Magic Kaitou - None 6.) Death Note - None 7.) Fairly Odd Parents - None 8.) Courage the Cowardly Dog - None 9.) El Tigre - None 10.) Repo: The Genetic Opera - Rotti X Marni 11.) Coraline - None 12.) Wicked - None 13.) Bolt - None 14.) Sherlock Holmes - Watson X Anyone besides Holmes I also tend to follow a philosophy of some sorts, and that philosophy would be that everyone should have a happily ever after. I'm not saying that everyone gets a happily ever after because I know they don't, but that they deserve the happy ending; everyone deserves a happy ending. Of course, I don't always follow this, as I know that, sometimes, a happy ending is simply impossible; it is for this very reason that some of my stories have terrible, tragic endings when compared to my others. I try to keep everything realistic, it's as simple as that. |
