As an athlete in menopause you experience the change very differently and may not even know what is going on. We train hard and think the side effects we experience are just part of our intense training, that's what I thought. Fitness has always been part of my life, whether in my business as a personal trainer and studio owner, or in my spare time preparing for a body building competition, a marathon, or a triathlon. When my Menopause started, my experience and training in exercise and nutrition helped me develop strategies to overcome and successfully deal with its side effects. Finally in 2012 I was able to make the impact in other women's lives experiencing Menopause that I hoped for. The best part about it was that I could change the way strong women exercise, nourish their bodies, and enjoy their healthy fitness lifestyle all over the world.
