Hi there my name is Layla and I like anime. (obviously.)

In middle school, I thought people were absolute freaks for having anything to do with anime or manga. Then, my sophomore year in high school, I dated a guy who hung around those type of people. I decided I' give it all a shot, and went to my public library to search if they had any anime.

They did. A whole section on the back wall. I had NO idea where to start, considering I didn't know anything about it at all. So, I picked up the 1st volume to Skip Beat! and I instantaneously fell in love..

Recently, my life has been taking its course and I haven't been able to finish the rest of the volumes past 8 I believe. Then I read about fanfiction.net on Facebook. I gave it a try, and I was head over heals.

I went to the only section I knew. (Skip Beat!) And read the first listed. It's written by EmilyF.6 - http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2497238/EmilyF_6 - And I give her extreme credit for thinking of such an epic story line for "Turn Right."

A little bit more about me

General

I have a Facebook account, blogspot, Twitter, and a RolePlayer.me account. (call me antisocial.) I don't pay attention much to the real world. I'm very magical actually. If I had a job, I would spend most of my money on anime, manga, and maybe a little Cosplay. I do draw a little, but I don't think I'm very good at it. I don't have much of a foundation. I'm working on that.

Education

I am currently trying to finish my Junior year in high school. (continuation) No, this doesn't mean I'm an idiot, I'm just lazy and fell behind in credits. I'm trying to catch up to my class and go back to my home school.

Favorite Books

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky

The Hunger Games trilogy - Susanne Collins

The Stranger - Albert Camus

Of Mice and Men - John Steinbeck (currently reading)

Religious views

I am a strong believer of Existentialism, and AntiChristianity. I believe that man makes his own decisions, and decides his own fate. One is not truly existing if not satisfied. I have nothing against Christians, or any other religion. I just have my own way of thinking.

I might get started on writing some fanfic, but I think I'll wait until I expand my mind more. Maybe learn something in my English class as well. Thank you for reading. ~
