Author has written 3 stories for Serial Experiments Lain, Secret/Legend of Mana, and Tenchi Muyo. I started watching anime since the age of 4, unfortunately, at that time, I didn't know it was called anime. All I knew was that it was Japanese animation, and that it was 50 times better than any American cartoon I had seen. My interests in anime, however, declined over the years mainly because I forgot about it. Then when Toonami started, my interest aroused once again, and ever since, I have been getting more and more involved in the anime society. I maintain an anime club on Yahoo, have two anime-related web sites, maintain an online magazine with my friend, and post messages everywhere. Shows I enjoy are: Serial Experiments Lain, Outlaw Star, Sailormoon, DBZ, Armitage III, Ghost in Shell, X, Tenchi series, Trigun, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Ranma 1/2, Blue Submarine No. 6, Devil Hunter Yohko, Macross/Robotech, every single Miyazaki movie (except for the ones I haven't seen), and a whole lot more. On a side note, I did happen to attend AX 2000 last year, and it was great, problem is, the convention just had to be held at Disney. I'm sorry, but anime and Disney are like enemies, plus, they put WAY too many regulations on the attendees, so I'm rather happy that this year's con will be at the Long Beach Convention Center! ^_^'Gaming: I love everything Secret of Mana, even though I've only played the first one and Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3). The pic on the right is from Secret of Mana 2, depicting the scene after Hawk, Angela, and Duran defeat the God-Beast Dolan. Oh yeah, and it has some Photoshop editing. |
