![]() Author has written 3 stories for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Like my sis, I'm retiring my account. I'm starting high school and I can't juggle writing on this site and school, so I'll be seeing you another day. No more stories. Yamarani is the native language of the Yamaran'ja people. So far they exist only in the story I'm writing currently with WishIwasaJedi, which is split into episodes with crawls like the Clone Wars Show. Oh, yeah, it's Star Wars (no surprise with WishIwasaJedi). Each episode is it's own story, hopefully separated into chapters. So far, we're not so sure. They may be one-shots, but who knows? The episode arc, right now simply called Shadows and Secrets, is completely written out, but not typed, so once things are settled with this account then maybe we'll start typing it. Right now, I'll be posting the story arc, as WishIwasaJedi is writing Band of Brothers right now. So go check out her stuff! Really good. Soon, we'll have it posted. STORY INFO I don't write anything vulgar, including language. I don't write anything over T rating. I do write things with extremely dark themes, that may make some stories very high T. I do write using violence, peril, disturbing imagery, blood, some gore, and disturbing themes. If you're put off by kissing and some romance, don't read my stories. If you're put off by vague or mild religious themes, sorry, my stories aren't for you. If you're looking for smut/lemon, intense swearing, drug use, nudity, yaoi/yuri/pedophilia/incest, you came to the wrong place. I do none of that. If you're looking for action-packed/sometimes politically driven stories with the right balance of romance and not romance, then yes. Come check it out. Thanks! The Yamarani are an ancient multi-species people on the paradisaical world of Yamaran. they thrive in sciences and... well, I guess that's it. Science. They are known for their strict codes of behavior and signature style of architecture. Moral code is their highest. The Linor Rashraj, the Chain of Faith, also known as the Chain of Life. The Linor Chain (rules to the Yamarani) The Linor Chain is what makes a Yamarani. Though they do have personal codes of honor and morality, all Yamarani recite this code as a revival of their beliefs every year. The Yamarani Jedi are allowed leave to return to their homeworld at this time, coming back to a festival full of lights and well-dressed Yamarani. Some new citizens, such as curious soldiers and Jedi companions, are in for a treat every night for a week. Some even recite the code, becoming Yamarani themselves. Here is the code in Yamarani, then translated. Here is the Linor Rashraj: 1) Mori sua chasma wiski mori bahsahd. 2) Mori sua tamanachari’is usey od suiriosa casa, asa modi moda. 3) Mori sua sho tuasa mori tosh. 4) Mori sua tamanachari’is tose hu ess nasa mori. 5) Mori sua sho seslit ua modi, mia, shihos, besha kogo fina mori. 6) Mori sua tamanachari’is wiwi mori hlu, goga mori tros, shilia mori wis, besha vinoa mori asa mori bahsahd. 7) Mori sua lia wisan kia vinoa. 8) Mori sua sti lia, vacan, jas, lialino’ri, casa rish mori cal hlu. 9) Mori sua danasua rit Yama’ran mori yamaran, Yamaran’ja mori bahsahd, rashraj mori likna. Lis mori jar’ri, mori jar’Yamaran’ja. 10) Mori sua toi up versa tose hu tros mori goga. In English: 1) I will pursue the serving of my brethren. 2) I will respect the truth and solemnity of love, as well as its physical form. 3) I will not subdue to my impulses. 4) I will respect the one who is beside me (another way of saying opposite gender). 5) I will not abuse their body, mind, or spirit, as it is all related to me. 6) I will respect the air I breathe, the ground I walk upon, the water I drink, as it is life-giving to me and my brethren. 7) I will comprehend what wishes to be life-giving (terminology for synthetic material). 8) I will remain thoughtful, open, chaste, meditative, and loving until my last breath. 9) I will always hold Yamaran as my home, the Yamarani my brethren, and the Chain my connection. Should I renounce these, I am not Yamarani. 10) I will speak these words to those who walk upon my soil. Another highly important chain is the Coluta Tamanachari (the Column of Respect). The Coluta Ka Tamanachari (Respect) As a Yamarani, it is my duty to speak these words to outsiders. As a Yamarani, it is my duty to uphold the Colutas and Chains as my life. As a Yamarani, it is my duty to keep war from Yamaran. As a Yamarani, it is my duty to elect a High King and Queen. As a Yamarani, it is my duty to regulate my own use of the world. Like the Mandalorians, the Yamarani live in clans. What makes them different from the other cultures is their social tower of castes and classes. First the classes will be explained and listed, then the castes will be explained and listed. What identifies a Yamarani is the Rar Chain, the four times pierced ears. Grey and Redline didn't know what Lea was so worked up that her earrings were gone, but any other Yamarani would share her franticness. Losing the Rar Chain earrings is a symbol of severing yourself from the Yamarani. Therefore, she really had to get her earrings back before anyone saw her. The Rar Chain's significance to class are the charms inside them. Lea wears an odd mixture of a spear, a varactyl, an Acklay, and a bow and arrow. That shows her status of a Class Helnorey, which is explained in the the list provided below. The Rar Chain is given to a child days after birth by his/her father, who pierces the baby's ears on both sides four times down the upper cartilage. What it signifies is the child's life history. Through childhood, the Yamarani is expected to learn or do something they choose to showcase by the time they turn sixteen (adulthood). CLASSES Timr’an (high king/queen): Highest. Achievements include healing, physical fitness, science, and engineering. Helnorey (warrior): Achievements include war strategy, physical fitness, engineering, and tactical training. Chashia (medicinal advisor/overseer): Achievements include healing, science, botany, and neurology. Shakinia (actor/actress): Achievements include art, ritual history, traditional arts, and music. Tiandoi: Only three achievements through childhood. Wanaran: Only two achievements through childhood. Taichada: Only one achievement through childhood. Glanada (boot-licker): Lowest. No achievements through childhood. Like the ancient Indian caste system, the Yamarani have a social ladder. Lela was lucky enough to achieve Class Timr'an, which made her electable for High Queen. Letirmi was an odd achiever, having become Class Helnorey, but had ended up in both obligation duty (Yamarani Guard) and Caste Engineer, which would sort of fall between war advisor and overseer. CASTES King, Queen, Tarain: Mostly from last generation’s Timr’an Class. This caste is selective, only choosing those who follow both Telendo and Ki An I, having the ability to be unbiased in decisions and elections. Tarain is prime minister. Soldiers, war advisors, admirals for the Grand Army of the Republic, Jedi: All (excepting Jedi, who could come from any class) are from Helnorey Class. Though war is an interest, it is usually discouraged. Finding Helnorey Classes are rare, therefore this caste is rare. Doctors, healers, overseers, medics: Only Timr’an and Chashia can belong to this caste, given only these two have learned healing. Doctors are abundant, therefore most give up being a medical doctor to pursue other fields of science. Actors/actresses, singers, dancers, musicians: Dancing and singing are traditional for the Yamarani, and are led through it by Caste Four. Their Rar Chains are known to be elaborate, as well as their costumes. They go through festivals, singing and dancing, waiting for each caste to join in. Acrobats seldom come from this caste, as they are usually from Helnorey Class. DICTIONARY Help for any words I use in the stories. Should be somewhat alphabetized. Grammar It’s pretty basic on its own. Most words are said in their basic form or said with a suffix. Prefixes are close to non-existent. When using someone’s title (Mr. Mrs. Queen King Commander etc.), it’s said as a suffix. Example: Grey’Condaja’Soja (Commander Grey with Mister attached). No matter what rank a person is, you put Mr., Mrs., or Ms. thereafter. Or Miz, but that isn’t politically correct in Yamaran. They don’t care. Speaking in sentences should be easy. Example: “Mori ess Casdo.” (I is Captain.) Is, am, are, etc. are all in the same word. ‘The’ and ‘a’ are non-existent, and there you have it. It’s easy. It’s etiquette to call someone ‘brother’ or ‘sister’. Even more respectful than Mr., Mrs., even ‘Dr.’ Family is valued. You’re in their family, so calling someone brethren is accepting that that’s true.
