If you are thinking about learning Chinese, I have good news. It's not as difficult as it may seem.
I have been to China on a work visa. I went there to teach English actually. Before going I took an online course in Chinese. Though you can survive okay in China without knowing any of the language, it really can make your life easier to know at least some survival Chinese.
For those not going to China, it is just a fascinating language to learn. It compliments learning about the history, culture, and people. If it's for business purposes, then you already know its importance.
I am a slow learner when it comes to learning any language, so it takes a really good course to help me. Luckily, I found a course that fit my learning style very well. It actually adapts to different learning styles.
As with any language learning, it does take commitment and dedication. No course can teach you any language unless you make some effort. But it helps to have a course that makes the learning process fun and motivating.
My experience with both the language learning and living in China were so good that I decided to create a website to share the same language course that I took. I wrote a review of the course as well as some articles with stories from China. If you are interested in teaching English there, I also wrote an extensive article on that whole process.
Go visit the site and check out all the articles. And of course check out the course that I talk about. Hopefully this will inspire your learning. If you want to learn Mandarin Chinese, and want to know the best course to learn the language, then this will answer your question. Good luck.
