![]() Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter. A short description of MissSlytherdortinksshe'saPuff: There are a few things I'm willing to say about myself here without lying. One is that I have some sort of built-in aversion towards lying, so it makes it hard for me to say I'm twenty-two when I am in fact fifteen. The things I'm willing to state about my identity are that I am a girl, I am, as mentioned before, fifteen years old and I live in a non-English speaking country. Despite the last fact about where I reside, English is my second mother language, and though I do not speak it every day, I mostly think in it and feel all around more comfortable writing in it too. I learned to speak and write and think English in Melbourne, Australia, where I spent a beautiful five years and a bit of my childhood that I wouldn't trade for anything. Living in an exotic country in the eyes of Europeans, many are lead to believe that these five and a bit years of my life were some untouchable adventure that they could never possibly believe. Wrong. Yes, I fed kangaroos and collected Christmas Beatles in Summer, I also visited Ballarat and Diamond Bay a few times, but seriously, I've always been the bookworm I am now. At times I'd spend the whole of recess sitting on the stairs around the basketball court reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and eating chocolate yoghurt with smarties and a gorilla on the cover, thinking that if I curled up into the smallest ball possible, I could become invisible. It didn't work. I discovered fanfiction... maybe a year and some ago? Damn, I'm not sure, but the first fanfiction I ever read was What Would Slytherin Harry Do by Big D on a Diet, which I came across when searching the internet for Slytherin bikini. I liked it, and also the idea of a Slytherin Harry, as I had been oblivious to the existence of fanfiction before, and so I searched on, which led me to the fanfiction that really got me hooked and which kinda lead me to sign up on here, too - Better Be Slytherin! by jharad17. Then came a long list of Jily, which included, but did not end with - Boyfriend, by Molly Raesly, The Devil Wears Quidditch Gear and Penmanship Smitten, by HeyLookTheSnitch... and of course The Life and Times by Jewels5 And yeah, so that's about me and how I got here. Also, my very very awesome and irreplaceable pen-pal and unofficial beta is the loveliest of lovely - BecauseI'mClever12 - check her out! OK, so I'll tell you a bit more about myself... My favorite food? Ah well, I guess I seriously fangirl on spaghetti and ketchup. Is that weird? :D Oh, it has to have cheese. Also, meat pies. Meat pies with chunky beef. Favorite book Character? Well I'll just say that I love Sirius Black. OK, the weird thing is, Sirius is like... two different people to me. One I love as my very own Godfather, which I wouldn't really know what it is like, but then you've got the teenage Sirius Black, and we all know what that means. He's like a big bowl of spaghetti. Wait... what? Favorite ice-cream? Oh, pistachio! Hmmm, pistachio... *drools* Music Deep Purple, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, All Time Low, Panic! at the Disco, The Baseballs, Metallica, AC/DC, The Veronicas, The Ramones If I were to think of my OTP? Jily, Jily everywhere. And Zutara. *nods solemnly* Current character obsession? [20.9.15] Barty Crouch Jr., perhaps, but there's no one really right now. Weird stuff about me I'm terrible at keeping stuff clean, namely my room. Now, that isn't weird, but the weird thing is that me, the slob and all that, well, I sometimes get this... urge to clean my room. The urge kind of makes my arms tremble until the room is spotless. This usually happens at midnight. If my chair moves a millimeter, I wriggle until I feel it is in it's rightful position again. I am allergic to doors that are ajar. Merlin, just, close them. Especially if they are from a cupboard or a wardrobe. I love untying things. Headphones, wires, ropes, tiny little chains... I'm actually really bloody fantastic at it. It's a talent :D I guess I'm really arrogant, but at the same time, the thing that makes me the happiest inside is to make someone else happy. But lately, I've been a tad bit too James Potter/Sirius Blackish. (I'm actually not that arrogant, not at all, it's just something I do and make fun of, act arrogant sometimes. People usually know I'm joking. They don't sometimes, though, and things get slightly, er... un-nicelier?) I kid myself, I'm Remus Lupin. |
