Author has written 1 story for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Hello. You can call me Luna if you'd like. I enjoy a great range of things from reading fics for fandoms like Buffy and Inuyasha to devouring movie after movie, be it comedy or horror. enjoy playing games like Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Rimworld, Terraria, Sims 4, and this wonderful app game called Summoner's War. If you play and want a lvl 40 Lexi as your friend, I'm game.(See what I did there? Talking about games and then saying I'm game? Ah, what silly, stupid joke.) I am usually a romance/drama writer, but I do write a lot of angst and wanted to put romance in the backseat. That's not to say it won't be there, its just want to try out doing a genre where the romance part of it isn't the main entree. I enjoy reading and writing. In the past I've read a lot of fantasy fiction and devoured shows like Xena: the Warrior Princess and moves like The Princess Bride and Reign of Fire. I love literature and wordplay, though I am nowhere near being the best in any way and I'm certain that there is wordplay I've yet to understand. However, it is a constant learning process and I only mean to say that I love the art form of words scrawled across a page, creating a picture, creating sounds and rhythms and beautiful imagery to flow within one's mind. With this in mind, here are a few quotes I absolutely adore. "Every human being has hundreds of separate people living under his skin. The talent of a writer is his ability to give them their separate names, identities, personalities and have them relate to other characters living with him." -Mel Brooks "Xena: People are too quick to go for their sword. It should always be the last resort. Gabrielle: I don't want to learn to kill. I want to learn to survive. Xena: All right. The rules of survival. Number one: if you can run, run. Number two: if you can't run...surrender, and then run. Number three: if you are outnumbered, let them fight each other...while you run. Number four... Gabrielle: Wait. More running? Xena: No. Four is where you talk your way out of it, and I know you can do that. It's wisdom before weapons, Gabrielle. Xena: Don't confuse defending yourself with using a weapon. When you pull a sword you have to be ready to kill. Xena: The first time you pick up a sword, you become a target. And the moment you kill...everything changes. Everything." "Xena: See how calm the surface of the water is. That was me once. And then...(throws the rock in)...the water ripples and churns. That's what I became. Gabrielle: But if we sit here long enough it will go back to being still again. You'll go back to being calm. Xena: But the stone's still under there. It's now a part of the lake. It might look as it did before but it's forever changed. -Xena: Warrior Princess(Dreamworker, season 1, episode 3) "Words have a magical power. They can bring either the greatest happiness or deepest despair; they can transfer knowledge from teacher to student; words enable the orator to sway his audience and dictate it's decisions. Words are capable of arousing the strongest emotions and prompting all men's actions." -Sigmund Freud |
