![]() Author has written 2 stories for Warrior, 2011, and Hobbit. For the people that critique my sentence structuring and paragraphing- let me apologize firsthand. I made it halfway through the seventh grade, dropped out of school because I was getting bullied by a group of kids that stopped at nothing to torture me. They cracked my ribs, broke my glasses, stole my shoes, and at one point I was even hospitalized for internal bleeding. This was in 1989, before schoolboards gave a damn about bullies, and all they cared about was attendance. My mother wanted to homeschool me, but being a single mother with four kids and working 90 hours a week she could not afford $600 a semester. Why am I telling you all this, you may ask? Well, I just wanted you to know I am completely self-taught, and any deficiencies you may notice are due to a lack of proper schooling. My older brother studied and is now a sociology professor at UCLA, and thanks to him I had access to plenty of college material, otherwise I wouldn't know the things I do. I just wanted you to know why my story suffers from lack of paragraphing and sentence structure. Also this is very late, but I want to thank you all for reading/reviewing/following...you have supported me in ways you could never imagine- this is a work of love, frustration and catharsis. The story will end one day-when Tommy finally finds peace, then maybe I will too. Find me on Tumblr- earlesstoothlessvagabond - we have a lot to talk about ;) Thank you again XOXO Also I would like to add that I am also on AO3, and since I copy and paste, it generally turns out better, and all my sentence/paragraph issues do not seem to exist there. I can't respond to reviews for some silly reason, so I just want to thank you all again, very very much! HUGS AND KISSES!!! |
