![]() Author has written 1 story for Pokémon, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. So you decided to check out my profile? Great! I'm Sleepy-Crobat! And, ugh, I've been changing my prof picture a lot lately. Hopefully, I'll decide on something. Name: You can call me Sleepy. Gender: Female Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown That's all I'll give for now. I like Percy Jackson (Both series), Pokemon, Danny Phantom, Homestuck, Detentionaire, Harry Potter, and some other stuff. I have a lot of fantasies in a lot of fandoms, so this might be long. Every fandom is separated from the last and has nothing to do with it. 'Cept personality and stuff like that. OC Basics Name: Ivy R. Nanton Age: 15 Gender: Female Birthday: October 27 (Scorpio) Voice: Her voice sounds like Vitani when she was a cub from Lion King 2. Build: Not skinny, not fat. Kinda in the middle. She is very flat-chested. Ivy's stronger in her upper body. Skin Tone: Light tan. Height: 5'4" alone. Weight: 109 lbs. Personality: Ivy can come off as snarky and insenstive, but she usually doesn't mean it. To her, laughter is the best medicine there is; and she's quite outgoing and talkative once you get to know her. It's also her defense mechanism. Whenever she gets nervous or scared, she starts talking and rambling about whatever's on her mind (Most people tend to find it annoying). Ivy is completely okay with admitting that she's scared and doesn't understand why other people aren't comfortable with admitting their fears. She's very impatient. When she gets excited, she tends to talk extremely fast. When angered, Ivy starts growling threats and warnings until she finally snaps and goes physical. Also kind of an impulsive liar. She's pretty sharp-tongued, and has a deadpan, sarcastic sense of humor. She finds slight amusement from other's misery. Romance: No. Likes: Making people laugh, eating out of trash cans, and stealing. Watching the sunrise, the nighttime, sunny and/or breezy days, and storytelling. Ivy absolutely loves storytelling; she's great at making up little tales. Same thing goes for spinning webs of lies. Dislikes: Sad atmosphere, security cameras, rainy days, and getting caught stealing. People who are serious all the time, people who can't take a joke, and especially people who have no sense of humor. Good Traits: Ivy can talk her way out of the majority of trouble she gets into (Say, 60%). She's great at making people laugh and telling jokes. Ivy's very creative and she has a rather large imagination. She also has a knack for stealing, acting, and lying. Bad Traits: Ivy can be indecisive, impatient, careless, and forgetful. Her eyesight is shit and she's incredibly addicted to sharp, shiny things. Ivy has a HUGE sailor's mouth. People give her dirty looks because of it. (That and eating out of the garbage.) Fatal Flaw: Curiosity Percy Jackson and The Olympians/Heroes of Olympus Godly Parent: Iris, Goddess of Rainbows Mortal Parent(s): Adam C. Nanton (37) & Carrol J. Nanton (36) Siblings: Annabelle H. Nanton (7) Eyes: Bright green and full of joy. Hair: Light brown. Slightly wavy and reaches the bottom of her ribcage. Usually in a medium ponytail with side bangs. Clothes: Olive cargo pants with a white T-shirt. Grey "We Run These Streets" Hoodie. Grey Nikes. In case of cold weather, Ivy wears this hoodie and an olive green cloth scarf, nothing else. (Well, you gotta have a shirt and some pants too of course, but you know what I mean!) Powers: Can create mini rainbows and free Iris-Messages. Superspeed. Weapon(s): Celestial bronze dagger. 18 in. long. Blade is a straight design. "Borrowed" from Medea. Ivy never loses it. Its name is Happiness, because then she can say," I kill monsters . . . WITH HAPPINESS!" Round celestial bronze war shield with a 3 ft. diameter. Has butterflies on the engraving. Lined with soft leather. Returns if thrown. Tap a certain butterfly to return to disguise form. Disguise form is a leather, analog watch with a steel rim. Press the button on the side for the shield to spiral out like a camera shutter. Tap surface of watch face for glow-in-the-dark. Tap again to turn it off. Given by Iris as a 13th birthday present. Romance: No boyfriends for this demigod. Although she finds boys easier to hang out with than most girls. Fears: Complete darkness with nobody around. (Well . . . nobody who's alive that's around) Ivy has a vivid imagination, so in utter darkness . . . she can imagine anything. Scars: Tons on her knees and elbows (Freerunning accidents and falling out of trees.) Another cut on the lower bridge of her nose. Not really a scar, but she was cut by an enchanted blade, so the cut was cursed; never to be healed and always bleeding. She has a band-aid over it at all times. Jewelry: Camp necklace with 2 beads. Disability: Only extreme ADHD History: Her whole life, Ivy was loved by her dad who raised her the best he could. Ivy spent her childhood watching Disney movies and exploring the woods behind her house in California. She never knew her mom, but whenever a rainbow appeared in the sky, Ivy would feel happy and reassured. One day on her birthday, Ivy was turning 13 and her dad was going to take her out to celebrate when a group of hellhounds attacked. Her dad told Ivy to go to a store nearby. It had a weird name: R.O.F.L, but she followed orders. Guess who she found there? (Audience: Iris?) NO, IT WAS KRONOS. Dummy! Of course it was Iris, who else could of been there? (Audience: Well . . . Fleecy?) Okay, ya got me there. Iris made a big rainbow force-field that scorched all the hellhounds, and teleported Ivy to CHB where she said everything will be explained. At CHB, Ivy was instantly claimed and moved into her cabin. She got the orientation video, a standard CHB T-shirt, and the tour. She also got her watch/shield as a birthday gift from Iris. Ivy stays at CHB only for summer. Anything Else?: Ivy is also fairly skilled in martial arts and is an expert in gymnastics, so to escape someone/something, Ivy will resort to freerunning and parkour. (See Tempest Freerunning Academy on Youtube, IT'S AWESOME!) Pokemon (1) Species: Pokemon-Human Hybrid Hometown: Snowpoint City, Sinnoh Human Form: Hair: Crobat Purple. (Used to be brown) Spikes out a bit at the end and goes down to the bottom of her rib cage. There are two tufts of hair on the top her head that stick up like Crobat's ears. Her bangs sweep to her right and they spike a bit. Eyes: Yellow irises, and almost slit, very dark red pupils. (Used to be brown) Height: 5'4" alone. 5'6" including the two hair tufts. Pokemon Form: If you haven't guessed it already, her other half is a Crobat. When Ivy tranforms, she is engulfed in a white light, similar to the evolution light. Height: She's smaller than other Crobats; 5'5" Weight: 113 lbs. Moveset: Confuse Ray, Cross Poison, Air Slash, and X-Scissor. She can use these moves in her human form too, but they're considerably weaker than when she's a Crobat. Friends: Ivy's best friend and traveling companion is Amber; another Poke-Human Hybrid. Together, they're the thieving duo; TEAM HANGOVER! Likes: Making people laugh, her jacket, eating out of trash cans, and stealing. Watching the sunrise, the nighttime, her Spinarak plushie (His name is Mr. Spidey and she sleeps with it), sunny and breezy days, and storytelling. Ivy absolutely loves storytelling; she's great at making up little tales. Same thing goes for spinning webs of lies. Dislikes: Sad atmosphere, not having her jacket with her, and not being able to find Mr. Spidey. Security cameras, rainy days, getting caught stealing, and Valentine's Day. Children especially. They annoy her to no end. Fears: Caves, pistols or pistol-like guns, and losing her jacket and plushie. Fatal Flaw: Curiosity. Occupation: Part-time thief. In desperate times, Ivy and Amber rent the other to a trainer. For instance, a trainer wants a gym badge, but doesn't have strong enough Pokemon. Here comes Amber, saying that they can use her Crobat to battle, for a price of course. If the trainer agrees, then Amber will take their money in exchange for Ivy's pokeball. When the trainer's done, they give it back. BOOM, PROFIT! Jewelry: A small, leather analog watch and thin golden bracelet on her right wrist, and two of the same bracelet on her left. She has a Poison Barb on a leather strand around her neck. All of this was stolen. Scars: Ivy has several splotches of scarred skin on her back when she was hit with a nasty Stone Edge. Ivy also has run-of-the-mill fighting scars (obviously). History: Ivy's parents loved her very much and she loved them back. However, when she was eight, her parents were killed on February 14, Valentine's Day. On that day, around midnight, little Ivy (with her Spinarak plushie in hand to protect her from the monsters) went downstairs to get herself a drink of water. On her way down, she heard rustling from the living room, so being the ever curious kid she was, Ivy went to investigate. Peeking around the wall, she saw the silhouette of a man, and as she was just a kid, Ivy dumbly called out to him. He turned and quickly held her at gunpoint, saying that if she made a sound, he would kill her. Then, he dragged Ivy upstairs and barged into her parent's bedroom, waking them in the process. He went on to say that they were to put all their valuables into a bag and give it to him. If they didn't, then Ivy would be shot. So since they didn't have pokemon, her parents had to do as he said. However, the second he turned his head, Ivy's dad tackled him and yelled at her to run. Frozen in fear, she couldn't move at all and just stood there. Which means Ivy had to watch as her father was killed right in front of her. Her kiddie ears couldn't take the volume of the gunshot, so Ivy's hearing was slightly (and permanently) damaged. Now she finally came to her senses and bolted out of there. Dashing down the stairs and out the back door with plushie still in hand, Ivy ran as fast as her eight-year-old legs would go. (Which wasn't all that fast.) However, hearing the second gunshot urged her to run faster. But chasing a kid who's running barefoot through the snow is pretty easy, and soon the man was hot on her tail. He chased her into a cave and cornered her against a wall. (How Ivy becomes a Poke-Human is based off of how Anima are created.) In a desperate attempt to call for help, she screams and then, suddenly, is engulfed in a white light; similar to the evolution light. When the light dies, in her place is a Zubat, who flies off quickly out of the cave with the other Zubats and far out into the forest. After flying for a while, the shock finally wore off and Ivy crash-landed into a snowy clearing; transforming back into a human. Quickly finding a hollow tree, she fell asleep. In the morning, she started back to were the cave was located, hoping to find Mr. Spidey. She found him laying outside of the cave, and after checking him for injuries, started walking in a random direction (south). After two weeks of living off of snow water and the occasional berry, Ivy finally tapped back into the power that allowed her to transform into a Zubat. It took another two weeks for her to learn how to transform at will, and even then, it was still slow. That's when she ran into Amber. Unlike Ivy, Amber was clearly well-stocked with supplies, so Ivy did the most logical thing. She bugged Amber until the older girl gave in and took Ivy under her wing. It wasn't until they were surrounded by a Drapion and a gang of Skorupi that they learned about the other's status of Poke-Human. That's when Amber decided to teach Ivy to master her powers and learn how to live a life on the road. Ivy's jacket was one of the first things they stole together. For years, the two traveled across Sinnoh, stole a load of stuff, and slowly became the best friends that they are today. Pokemon (2) Clothes: Ivy keeps her hair under an orange bandanna. Olive cargo pants and a black t-shirt with an orange outline of a pokeball on it. Olive scarf and a grey, hoodless, (usually) unzipped ski jacket. Orange knit fingerless gloves that go up to her elbows. Brown snow boots. History: At age 10, Ivy finally became of age to get a Pokemon. On her way, she sees some Team Galactic grunts trying to discretely smuggle Pokemon in from different Regions. She frees a Zangoose and together they fight off the grunts. Zangoose decides to stay with Ivy and he becomes her first Pokemon. He stays out of his Pokeball.
