It was over. The Flame was extinguished, putting an end to the endless cycle of death and rebirth. But as the Firekeeper said, "One day, tiny flames will dance across the darkness. Like embers, linked by lords past." With a final sigh, the Ashen One stood and sank his blade into the ground, forever her watcher as darkness settled. "Ashen One, hearest thou my voice, still?"

Remnant has endured decades of peace since their last war, but how will they react to a boy born from war, who knows only war and has lived his whole life fighting in never ending wars that span their galaxy? Will this boy be a terrifying monstrosity that leaves nothing but death in his wake? Or will someone be able to show the Kriegan that there is more to life than death?

For him, the night was supposed to end. The Dream would come to a close and he had done his best in his service as a Hunter. He would awake in the new dawn and make the most of what remained of his life. But a new nightmare threatens the Hunter's Dream and a foreign world. The young hunter is thrown into a different world of huntsmen and huntresses to warn them, to save them.

A Militia pilot is pulled into a different world after a hasty escape from near-destruction, as well as two others (and a robot). In this new world can he make life anew or must he face his past demons? What will the world of Remnant think of these four from another universe and the ensuing chaos they bring?

While the Hunt may prove to be the longest anyone could endure, there is a reprieve to be found in the little moments. As the Young Hunter's new ward, Chisa finds herself facing a new world from her home in the Hunter's Workshop.
