![]() Author has written 3 stories for Digimon, A song of Ice and Fire, and Gundam Seed. My OC Digimon and there attack's: Drakymon: The In-Training level of John's partner. Fire Spit: Drakymon's only attack; sends a small ribbon of flame at his opponent. Amphitheredramon: The Rookie level of John's partner. A bit of a joker who finds it funny to chew on John's face. Fire Flap: A wave of fire erupts from his wings. Wyverndramon: The Champion level of John's partner. He is much more serious than Amphitheredramon and is quite good at riddles. Wing Slash: The claws on Wyverndramon's wings elongate slightly and he carves deep gashes in the opponent. Fire Fangs: Wyverndramon breathes out a swarm of flaming teeth that explode on impact. Ice Dragon: A barrier of ice forms around the target, this can either be used as protection or an attack in which case the barrier extends inward freezing the target solid. I recently started a TVTropes Page for The Story We Never Told by ker-plop. the link is below: Updating Schedule: Okay everyone I'm really sorry about this but my story is officially on haitus. I'm so sorry because now I feel like all those authors I'm always complaining about who never update. I'm not scrapping the story I'll still work on but between limited internet and a summer job I can't really find the time to write. And in addition I've realized that a first-person POV for a story that involves so many characters is a really bad idea. So I'm also going to be working on turning it into a combination of first-person and third-person. I'm really sorry about all this. The next time there's an update though there will be a real treat: all the chapters will have been rewritten in addition to the new chapter. But that will be a while away. I promise though that it will be by next summer (even if I have to kill myself through working so hard). Digimon Season Opinions (Best to Worst/Unranked): 1) Adventure: Hands down the best season. It took classic concepts (lost in a new world, animal companions) and, adding a digital twist, created something brand new and exciting. Overall everything flowed nicely and the villians had decent motivation, Etemon being the exception. Also each arc flowed into each other with no real whip-lash. The cast was all well-developed and grew over the course of the season brilliantly illustrated by the Crests. 2) Tamers: A story that I didn't really watch after the disappointment that was the 02 Epilogue. But I gave it a chance and found that it was pretty good. Unfortunately where it suffers is the villains, most of them are simply misguided or generally doing what they believe they need to do to protect other digimon. While similar to real war it's a little heavy for a kids show. Nonetheless the idea of biomerging was pretty cool. 3) Frontier: I feel that Frontier usually gets a lot of flak for the lack of Digimon Partners and the ghastly Royal Knights Arc. But I personally like a lot of the digimon they use such as Burninggreymon and Kendogarurumon. Unfortunately they are the worst offenders when it comes to the main characters gaining evolutions superior to their fellows. I also loved how Kouchi is unique amongst "evil" humans because he is not choosing or even being manipulated into being evil. He is basically forced to be evil. It was a nice series, if a little nonsensical at times, but hey they gave a great way of being serious even after the epic horror drama that was Tamers 4) Data Squad: This is a pretty nifty little season from the episodes I've seen. But in all seriousness whoever thought that a normal human being able to K.O. Mega-level digimon was a good idea was drinking some Avatar-style cactus juice. The burst mode just seemed a little weird to me and to be honest reusing Agumon, admittedly with a new personality, was a bit of a Faux Pau on their part. 5) Adventure 02: This series honestly had some of the greatest potential in cartoon history. An evil Digidestined who believes the Digital World is some kind of game: Sweet idea; An older more experienced team with some serious firepower: Oh boy; A shadowy Cuthulu-esque villain with designs on Kari: Eeeee. What we did get was just about the biggest piece of crap possible. It had some great moments like DNA-digivolving not just fusing the digimon but also the hearts of the human partners was one of them. But over all wasted potential was all there was. 6) Xros Wars: From the handful of episodes I've seen it's like there is an entire Team of Davises and Veemons. And the Xrosing instead of normal digivolving isn't novel, just stupid. |
