I wrote fan fiction for Sonic the Hedgehog about ten years ago. I stopped for a long while, moving my talents to poetry. I became successful with it, wring more than three hundred different poems to my name. But I was never in it for recognition or fame or money or to even get published. Sure I was pushed by my family and friends to do so, but it just wasn't what I wanted. It just never really mattered to me.

What mattered to me was that I had found a way to sort of deal with day to day life and stress. No I did not get into the whole "emo" phase or anything like that. I was happy with where I was, but everyone has their shit to deal with. That's just part of being human. I stayed out of the drug scene and I never touched alcohol until I was twenty-two. (I didn't have your typical twenty-first birthday party either). I am in a good place now, and recently I decided to go back to where it all really started. I wanted to try to reconnect with what talent I had ten years ago. So whether people read my stories or not, it makes no difference to me.
