My first (and probably sole) attempt at a modern AU Arya/Jaime fanfic (one shot), in which Jaime interrogates Arya about Cersei's murder. **Warning: VERY dark and mildly sick. If you're not into that kind of thing, then please move on. Title is from 'Hello' by Evanescence.

"Hi," the little girl said. "What's your name?" The boy bit his lip, indecisive. Then, seeming to decide that this wasn't too obtrusive of a question, he replied, "I'm Bobby."

"I love you. I wanted—I wanted this face to say it. Because this is the face that fell in love with you. My next face is just the face that gets to love you the way I wish I would have gotten the chance to." This time, the Doctor doesn't regenerate alone.

"What?" Clara asks, biting her nail yet again, "Am I? Am..." And the Doctor just looks down at the two solid blue lines on this stick of white plastic with disbelief. Clara. Oswald. Is. Pregnant. [Doctor x Clara]

Clara stared at him, shaking her head from side to side. "Stop it." She didn't try to hide her crying now. "Just stop," she repeated, her voice growing in volume. "Just stop!" She grabbed him by the shoulders as if to shake him. His cheery façade gone, a thousand years of sorrow shone through. "I can't."
