Sequel to Fangs and Swords. Peace has finally formed between Camelot and the vampires and soon Merlin will be coming of age. But the peace was not to last, a new enemy is descending on Camelot as well as Merlin's own people. Shadows descend, the battle turns bloody and not everybody will make it out alive. No slash. Set shortly after S4. Merlin wanders off on his own whilst the knights are out on patrol and stumbles upon a terrible sight. When he sees people in trouble will he return to protect his destiny and Arthur or will he fight for his kin? At the moment it will probably be a short chapter fic but has the potential to become much more if you like it. No slash. T rating for violence

When the vampires who dwell on the Isle of the Blessed make contact with Camelot wanting peace Uther sees this is the perfect opportunity to wipe them out. Arthur is sent to discover the 'monsters' weaknesses but finds his resolve wavering as he gets to know the vampire's prince, Merlin. Perhaps they are not monsters after all... no slash and no sparkling.
