I'm a big fan of Good News Week and Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation, as well as Spicks and Specks, How I Met Your Mother, Doctor Who and Scrapheap Challenge (a BBC show about people building machines out of scrap). Basically, anything with comedy.

Movies
The Star Wars movies are my all time favourites, but I also like Transformers and Revenge of the Fallen, the Dark Knight, and Iron Man.

Books
I really liked the Artemis Fowl books, because they combine humour and sci-fi brilliantly. Other than that, I like pretty much any sci-fi/action books.
