≈●Spoiler Prologue●≈

The fires sparked it the silent gloom of the midnight sky. I remember feeling the hot tears run down my face as I came to realize why there were no more screams.
Everyone was dead; the ground displayed their blood like paint on a canvas, the kind of art that could only be admired by a monster, a beast. I stand there, frozen in horror, staring at the dead corps of men. These men abused and used me, they were my tormenters, yet I felt no happiness seeing their tormented expressions.
Instead fear left me in panic, whatever killed them would surely kill me. It was at that moment when I saw him, a shadow standing in the corner, watching me. He looked amused as he sized me up, a flame of excitement flared in his eyes, a devilish grin spread across his face. He stood up straight and walked towards me, each step stole away my breath.
