![]() Dear All, I am QueenKoboi (as you may have guessed). I am a very good friend of Angelofgrace96 (a.k.a. Angela) and I credit her for getting me onto the whole FanFiction thing. I've written one story so far (Two Sides of the Same Coin) which was co-written with her (meaning that I wrote most of it Angela edited it.) I am a HUGE fan of many books (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings [and The Hobbit] the Inheritance series, Percy Jackson, and Artemis Fowl [just to name a few]) I am, under no circumstances, a Twilight fan (I'm sorry all you Twilight fans out there, but I lost the will to live after the first chapter) and I just don't get what it's all about. I will write all or most of a story before posting it (heck, I started writing Two Sides of the Same Coin in September 2012 and won't finish until... well... I don't know when I'll finish). So you won't be waiting longer that a week for another chapter. NOTE: If any of you are wondering what the heck Two Sides of the Same Coin is, it is my Lord Of The Rings fanfic posted on my joint profile with Angie. Our joint pen name is Princess Angela Kate Koboi, if you're interested. And now for something completely different. Movie and TV show quotes! (Disclaimer: I don't own any of the movies or TV shows quoted here) "Yes, well forgive me for not leaping for joy, bad back, you know." Scar, The Lion King Edmund Blackadder: "Baldrick, I have a cunning plan." Baldrick: "Is it as cunning as a fox, what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University, but has now moved on and is now working for the UN in the International High Commission of Cunning Planning?" Edmund Blackadder: "Yes." Baldrick: "Ohhh! That's cunning." Edmund Blackadder and S. Baldrick, Blackadder: Back And Forth "Me, I'm a dishonest man, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you want to watch out for because you never know when they're going to do something incredibly stupid." Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl "Or what?! What will you do?! I'm already in hell!" Queen Persephone, Percy Jackson And The LightningThief "Don't talk out loud, Anderson. You lower the IQ of the whole street." Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock (A Study In Pink) "We are in Buckingham Palace, the very heart of the British nation. Sherlock Holmes, put your trousers on." Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock (A Scandal In Belgravia) I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. (Like actually reading real books! Oh the horror!) I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on Facebook, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone. (I don't even have Facebook!) I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. (I have NEVER been asked out.) I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird, who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who can express herself better with words than actions (If only more people would listen to me), who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things. Copy and paste this onto your account, and add your name to the list, if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest time that they are unique but not alone: Iheartjake, TeamJacob101, Boysareadrag, The Dawn Is Breaking, secilmis yazar, Holly Marie Fowl, Missy Werecat, Liza Taylor, toadflame, Leaf-Drifting-On-Wind, She-Who-Has-A-Very-Long-Name, Karm Starkiller, Dithinus, Kira Regulus Black, Inocencia, Fenwickg, QueenKoboi You know you live in 2012 when... Geography Lesson: The Bermuda Triangle is actually called the Sea of Monsters and conceals the entrance to various worlds, including: Middle Earth, Muddle Earth, Alagësia, Narnia and a random island called Middle Tortualagësinarnia which is owned by me, Angela and our friends: Scratch, The Draxie and Syletah. History lesson: The dinosaurs didn't go extinct. Barney showed up and they all committed suicide. English Lesson: If Shakespeare had died as an infant, we wouldn't have to study his plays (-shouts- Can someone get me the Doctor's phone number?) Science Lesson: Mentos plus enormous bottle of Diet Coke = explosion... and a huge mess... Drama Lesson: Never mention the word "MacBeth" around actors. Maths Lesson: Contrary to popular belief, one plus one does not equal two. Sport Lesson: Australian Rules Football is overrated. Cooking Lesson: Do not attempt to recreate any recipes from Heston Blumenthal's Heston's Feasts. Doing so will result in a huge mess and possibly an explosion of some kind. And now for a little, true, story of these modern days when Apple is taking over the world... One day at school, Opal and Angela were sitting in the classroom with their friend, MishFish. The teacher had left the classroom for a cup of tea (our class was really a rowdy bunch) and something dreadful had happened. There was no wifi. Angela had forgotten about the lack of Internet, temporarily, and suggested that she and Opal email their friends in the year below them. "How are you going to do that?" asked MishFish. "Unless Miss Koboi here can magically fix the network without going all the way over to the tech guys, we don't have wifi." "Can you do that, Miss Koboi?" asked Angela. Opal shook her head. "Sorry but no," she said. "I actually haven't the faintest idea about how the wifi network actually works. I just use it." "So then how are you going to email the Draxie, Scratch and Syletah?" asked MishFish. "I know!" cried Angela, earning stares from half the class. "I'll use my iHat! It comes with 3G!" Opal and MishFish facepalmed in unison. (NOTE: I am not kidding. This has actually happened. I think it was last year...) So now, we come to the bitter end. Congratulations if you actually read this far. I hope you enjoyed reading my profile and also enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them. QueenKoboi (P.S. For those of you who have read Two Sides of the Same Coin, I am going to write a prequel to it explaining exactly how Alanna got injured, but that won't be posted until Two Sides of the Same Coin is finished, so not for a while) |
