Hey there ;)
I'm a girl who really loves to babble; mostly because I love words, but I'm totally unable to express myself in a few short sentences.
So, I'll try to behave and not talk too long now.
I've never written something and then put it online. There are many reasons why. One being for example that my mother tongue is not English and I really don't want to put a story up which is full of mistakes. Secondly, I admit I'm a tiny bit afraid. Of what exactly, I'm not sure. Maybe somebody is going to jump right out of the screen and bite me, who knows? Well, if it's going to happen anyway, it doesn't have to be related to a story I wrote, but can happen any day. ehh whatever. See, I'm already babbling again.
Well, I know I have no real arguments, and I really want to put a story up here. So, sometime in the future I might just do that. (Yeah, I know you shouldn’t think in the future, and just live in the present. It just isn't that easy always.)
Reading...
I love reading, I have a knack for carefully chosen words. They make me all emotional and girly and stuff. It's like a part of me which nobody really knows about, which is buried deep inside me and comes lose when I read all the fantastic stories here on ff.net.
Music...
I love music. When I love a song, I could never, ever get enough of it. No matter how often I listen to it.
I grew up with 'the Offspring', so it feels like it's in my veins to love them and their music. They never fail to make me feel content and happy.
Other then that: A few of my most favourite songs ever would be:
A Praise Chorus by Jimmy Eat World
Seventeen ain't so sweet by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
I Want To Break Free by Queen
Don't stop Dancing by Creed
and and and and and...
Every song I've listed, and much more, has a story for me. That makes them so special, and even more beautiful. Like I already said, I'm not really good at expressing my feelings in words, so when words fail me, I let the music tell everything.
When I listen to music, I start to dream...
I love...
I love the rain. I love my friends so much; it always makes me wonder what I did to deserve them. I love making fun of people. I love fruits. I love every time I can sincerely smile. I love sugar. I love that when I'm surrounded by the right people life seems almost too easy. I love saying 'fuck'. I love chinese food. I love the color green.
I don't like...
I don't like my mobile phone (if it weren't for my friends who want to be able to get a hold on me, I would've long thrown it out of the window.)
I don't like it when somebody hurts my friends or family. I don't even like the word 'hate', it's just such a strong word. But, yeah, I totally hate it when somebody hurts my friends or family.
I don't like being rushed. Slow down, people, no need to be hectic.
I don't like hypes at all.
Other quirks about me...
I am really blunt. I like acting weird because of the funny looks I get from people. I love watching soccer. I don't like it when a guy always pays for me. I'm really lazy (which is why I could've written half of these things to the above I love/don't like but didn't... too lazy to scroll up there). I don't run after the bus when I'm too late. I'm kinda afraid of elevators. I hate speaking on the phone. I love singing but I'm horrible at it; that really annoys people which I find funny as hell. I believe in fate, that everything has a reason, so I try not to fret about things; it'll all work out in the end, one way or another. I find something funny in almost every situation, which can annoy people sometimes. I don't do lightly, so when I say something important, I mean it.
Another thing I really love...
...are quotes. I have an own book just for myself in which I always write the quote I read somewhere (book, ff, ad, internet...) and really love. Here are a few:
"if you stumble make it a part of your dance"-anonymous
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."- anonymous
‘Sometimes it’s a form of love just talking to somebody you have nothing in common with, And are still fascinated by their presence.’ -Anonymous
‘Your joy can fill you only as deeply as your sorrow has carved you.’ -Kahlil Gibran
'Friends don’t let friends do silly things alone.' -Anonymous
'I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme,
and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end.
Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.' -Gilda Radner
'One doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.' - Andre Gide
'When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness; that is a friend who cares.' - Henri Nouwen
'You said you'd
never fall down
the stairs again,
so I tripped you,
to remind you
there is no way
to control your
destiny as long
as I hold you
back, and that's
why I flew away,
giving you time
to escape until
it was time for
us to meet
again, and we
will meet again,
over and over.'
- Jason Flatowicz
I'm really sorry if I got anything wrong, and I would really appreciate it if you tell me so that I can fix it. Thanks.
