![]() Author has written 1 story for Prince of Tennis. I write for the same reason I breathe; if I didn't, I would die. - Isaac Asimov Simply put I'm a writer and a creator. I constantly have ideas flowing through my head that are just dying to get out; most never make it past initial plot notes, but I always tell myself that someday I'll write them all. Well this writer has learned that someday never quite comes unless I kick myself in the ass and just get to it, so without further ado I present to you my stories. Poetry creates myth, the prose writer draws its portrait. - Jean-Paul Sartre A little more about me, you ask? My penname is P.A. Cage -- feel free to call me Pandora. I'm currently 21 and I joined this site and published some stories back in 2010 under the penname hikari-hikaru-hikari which later changed to Vergessene89. It's a reprehensible account that hasn't been updated in about half a decade; I only keep it around for update notifications. I love to draw and have recently developed an obsession with Oblivion. I also live in a 24/7 M/s relationship with a man who stands at the center of my universe. Most of my time is spent with him. As a writer I tend towards darker works. Fantasy lays closest to my heart -- high fantasy, most noteably. My stories are often macabre and brutal. I'm not the typical "romanticize the horrible world" author. I do my best to make my writing brutally tragic and beautiful, though that's not to say there's never a happy ending; my characters just have to go through hell to get there. Regarding fanfiction I do tend to stick to BL -- AKA yaoi or slash fiction. I also do my best to give a fresh story; you often don't need to have seen the original work to understand and follow my work, though this isn't always the case. The fandoms I tend towards; at the moment my main interest is in Prince of Tennis, Hikaru no Go, Gravitation, and Harry Potter. I enjoy a variety of anime, books, manga, and TV shows however, and inspiration comes to me in odd forms, so expect that I may branch out in the future. I went for years not finishing anything. Because, of course, when you finish something you can be judged. - Erica Jong Back in 2010 I started my first fanfiction for the Prince of Tennis fandom called Nothing's Shadow. I published a couple of chapters, dropped it, then came back to it numerous times over the years, changing the plot and rewriting and editing it over a dozen times at this point. It started out very simplistic and average but it has since become my baby. I hold it close to my heart and although I may start other projects my biggest goal is to finally finish and publish it. It is now called Paper Cuts Still Bleed and come hell or high water I'm determined to get this story out before I die. I've done this with a few stories and have come to realize I have a horrible habit of not finishing things. I've always paid too much attention to traffic and reviews and have let myself get too easily discouraged. But no more, I say! I love and appreciate every single review, follow, and view I get, and they're an infinite source of motivation, but I'll be doing my best not to keep track of that too much so that I don't get caught up and abandon my stories again. To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it's about, but the inner music the words make. - Truman Capote I'll do my best to keep updates coming twice a month but I make no promises. If you've been waiting and you want a status update on the next chapter feel free to shoot me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my stories! | |||||||
