Several years ago now, I turned on the TV and for some unknown reason did not immediately change the channel. So began my love for Supernatural. The story of the Winchester brothers' love for each other and courage against insurmountable odds is one that I will never fall out of love with. Supernatural has remained my favorite show ever since, and--as an older sibling myself--I particularly enjoy writing fiction from Dean's perspective. I was privileged enough to attend a convention a year ago, and I am of the view that all the actors are lovely, kind, talented people. I do not 'ship Destiel or any other pairings, but I can admire the work of people who do. Fandom is family, and I don't condone the bashing of anyone's opinions. You do you, and more power to you.

My other loves include all things Batman. I grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series, Teen Titans, Justice League, and The Batman. I also really liked the Under the Red Hood and Son of Batman movies. Jason O'Mara's voicing of Bruce Wayne really seemed to fit, so Batman takes his voice in my head. I have more recently delved into the world of comics, and now find myself completely absorbed in Batman and Robin and Red Hood and the Outlaws (Yes, post-reboot, though I realize that is an unpopular opinion). Each and every one of the various Robins holds a special place in my heart, but Jason Todd is my particular baby. I adore him. I enjoy exploring the potential for fraternal relationships within and outside of canon. I have lately come to love the friendship between Jason and Roy Harper, so I may do some work with that in the future. But for now, I will stick to trying to fit my poor, abused Batfamily back together in a creative fashion (since canon just makes me want to hug them until they're happy again).

Currently, I am attempting to complete my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, as well as working. My unofficial career is reading as many books as humanly possible. I have one sister and more brothers than I know what to do with, and I am immensely proud of each of them. I also love puppies, Netflix, and cheesecake. My primary goal in life is to one day own a Beauty-and-the-Beast-esque library.

Further Notes/ Updates (as of 12/17/14):

Reforging the Family is in progress. I am not sure when this will be completed, or if it ever will. I write when inspiration strikes me, which is usually fairly often.

Three Reasons Series is also in progress. Parts 1, 2, and 3 are complete. I will add more one-shots, and I'm planning to do a longer story with multiple chapters, but I'm not sure when.

I have a longer Scorpio Races story in the works, but am not sure when it will be finished.
