This story takes place "In Between" Uncanny Avengers 5 & 6 and a few months after the end of the Gambit series. I'm using a bit of artistic license to imply that a day passes between Thor and Sunfire having to rescue Rio de Janeiro from space wreckage and Rogue's OOC killing of the Scarlet Witch. This is my first fanfic :x

In an AU, the psyche of Carol Danvers took control of Rogue's body in Genosha and never let go. Years later, a confused Rogue wakes up to a world that has continued on without her. Is there still a place for her with the X-Men? Romy.

Gambit, accompanied by his X-Factor teammates Polaris and Quicksilver, wrangles an invitation to a black-tie gala hosted by Tony Stark. Things get interesting for the Cajun when he discovers who else is on the guest list. Romy.

Rogue travels to New Orleans on personal business and runs into a few old friends. Romy. Set shortly after the end of the last Gambit solo series.
