Beggars can't be choosers, especially during the zombie apocalypse. A girl forms an unlikely alliance with a hunter, and the two run into the survivors during a horde attack. Nick is hardly ready to accept a hunter into the group, but Ellis thinks it could work to their benefit. He wants her to come to New Orleans with them, but she doesn't trust the military. Nick and the survivors were doing fine (as fine as it gets with Nick around), but Ellis finds girl and begs the team to let her stay. When everyone but Nick complies to his request, will he lose it because of this untrusted stranger? Or will he find something about himself he never knew?

Being afraid of the social world doesn't help one so good. But being stuck in a zombie apocalypse with 4 strangers doesn't help your anxiety, especially when one of them is a such a charmer and you can't help but grow so fond of him.

Nick is dragged away from the others by a charger. He isn't able take much more of a beating when a woman comes to his rescue. She's sharky and crass and he can't seem to stand her. Still she saved his life and he's stuck with her for a while. Might as well make the best of it and see what he can con off her. Rated for swearing, violence, later smut, and sexual themes.

Now they have to make their way to another Survivor stronghold in New York and reunite with the other four Survivors. NickxOC, rated M for swearing and sexual content, just in case.
