"Then why are you here?" Wasn't that the question? The thing that had plagued him for weeks before he left the monastery and the weeks since his return. He didn't have a simple answer. Perhaps it was a mercy they had not pressed him for a reason sooner than this. They had just welcomed him back. He didn't deserve for it to be so easy.

Athos promises himself that he would do whatever was necessary to keep their brotherhood from fracturing in the future.

Following the events of Season 2, Episode 2, "An Ordinary Man," d'Artagnan is left questioning his suitability to be a musketeer- and with a need to redeem himself in the eyes of his King. Will this new mission do the trick? Or make things worse? A bit of adventure, angst, and H/C to throw in the mix!

At the end of the season two finale, Milady gave Athos a choice: go with her to England, or stay and never see her again. He goes. He's too late. She's gone. But what if he'd gone and she was still there? He would be at the Crossroads of his life in his decision. It's twenty years later, and D'artagnan has just found Athos again. This time, D'artagnan is too late.

When Athos wakes up, complete with a screaming hangover and tied to a chair, he can't help but hope it's some elaborate joke courtesy of the madmen he calls friends. But as events unfold and take a darker turn Athos realises his kidnapping was no random act of criminality. Someone planned his abduction, is out for revenge and will stop at nothing until he gets it. Modern AU

Athos learns of d'Artagnan and Milady and he doesn't react well. Will the brotherhood survive once the dust has settled? Much angst, hurt d'Artagnan and comfort to come.

d'Artagnan, completely on his own for the first time in his life, finds fate has tossed him an opportunity he's been longing for, though as is often the case, the price of the newly opened door is costly - his father's life. What further payment will capricious fate require if he finds the courage to follow his dream?

"D'Artagnan," King Louis said, "it has come to our attention that your recent, dangerous gamble with our lives is the result of your youthful inexperience and that you may benefit from some additional training." Slight spoilers for 2.06 Through a Glass Darkly.

When something happens the Musketeers think D'artagnan betrayed them and he leaves...but did he?

In the aftermath of a mission gone wrong, Athos blames himself. Despite all evidence showing that d'Artagnan is lost, he refuses to believe that. He simply cannot allow himself to rest until he knows for sure, one way or the other.

D'Artagnan wants to be a Musketeer but Athos seems to be doing everything he can to stop that from happening. Occurs between episode 1 and 2 in season 1.

Takes place between the pilot episode and episode 2. My take on what they went through to forge a brotherhood so quickly. D'Artagnan returns home to Lupiac after Athos's release from prison to bury his father. Chapter 10. Loose ends are tied up, things become clearer to d'Artagnan and takes steps to build a new life for himself from the ashes of his old life.

Daniel finally gets closure with a certain doctor lady.

Endgame was abrupt and didn't show us the great family reunions. This story is what I think would have happened between Tom Paris and his father when they saw each other. Simple fluff really. Spoilers for many PT episodes. Story is now complete, enjoy!
