A divergence after Blackwater.

It is said that two souls, whether kin or strangers, old or young, friend or foe, may be 'kindred'. These souls are thought to be bound in some way, their paths wound by Fate from the same thread. Many never realize this, but some choose to follow the thread, whatever may come. Until. - This is a Blackwater departure AU, with the goal of character realism and a slow-burning plot.

Sandor Clegane embarks on a quest to find his brother, while Alayne of the Vale awaits the next twist in her tragic tale. Updates: having seen her idyll shattered after Gregor's return, Sansa is forced to navigate courtly politics amidst the new powers rising in the realm. FINISHED.

I've wanted to write some smutty SanSan fic for ages, but I didn't have the guts. So I've opted for a full story with cameos from other characters to give it a back drop and then place sansan in there when they are finally alone. Contains spoilers for both show and books.

Sansa becomes deathly ill while still a prisoner of the Lannisters. Despairing and with nothing left, she sees it as her way out. But can she still find a reason to live? Set during ACOK, Sansa/Sandor. Warning: language consistent with canon.

Sansa decides to go with The Hound during the Battle of Blackwater. Survival in the woods, a lot of growing up, and a tangled relationship follow...

This story is my best guess at how the Sansa/Sandor storyline will progress. The first chapter starts immediately after Arya leaves Sandor at the Trident. Told from the POV of Sansa/Alayne, Sandor, the Elder Brother, and the Mad Mouse.

Brienne rescues Sansa from the Vale, but after hearing what she found out on the Quiet Isle, Sansa decides to go and speak with the Elder Brother herself. [Trigger warning - see author's notes at start of Ch6].

Fate brought them together in King's Landing only to pull them apart during the Battle of the Blackwater. With Sandor on the Quiet Isle and Sansa in the Eyrie, they both begin to feel the fates accelerating them towards one another once again. Sandor takes his fate in his own hands and decides to leave the Quiet Isle in search of his Little Bird.

Winter over Westeros. This follows some well loved characters into the cold and beyond, exploring believes and faith and fate.

Sansa is rescued from King's Landing,but the plan is different from what she expected. AU fic deviating from canon on the day of Joffrey's wedding to Margaery Tyrell. Note: Includes POV chapters of Melisandre & Jon Snow as well.
