Currently working on BSG fic Ghosts of the Past, sequel to A Flash Before the Eyes, both posted here, and Firefly fic Something To Think On (which, to prove my nerdiness, can also be downloaded in Kindle-friendly Mobi format or Stanza-friendly ePub format).

I also recently posted a number of old (ca. 2000) Frasier fics, as I figured I might as well give them a bit of new life.

I started reading fanfiction when I was about fourteen and had dial-up internet, a black and white monitor, and the first version of America Online. I only read X-Files fanfiction, but I remember, when I was in high school, thinking that the authors that wrote novel-length fiction, the really good stuff, were basically famous (thus getting flustered when they came into AOL chatrooms or when I wanted to email them feedback). Formative fanfiction experiences, still my all-time favorites: Going Nowhere by Nicole Perry, World Without End by Rachel Anton, and (to a lesser degree) 12 Degrees of Separation by Paula Graves, all X-Files. They're not on ff.net, but they're absolutely worth a look at either Gossamer or the Annex (which I am slightly amazed still exist).

Until late in 2008, I hadn't thought about fanfiction nearing a decade, when the BSG hiatus finally began getting to me in a serious way. And so I revisited the concept for a little while. Here are the products of that effort.
