AU. Sirius, James, and Lily are distraught over Remus' premature death. Sirius believes Remus died hating him, making him fall into depression. Four years have passed and now, a bigger problem emerges. Harry is captured. Unknowingly to everyone else, Harry has found someone to comfort him, someone that goes by the name, Moony.

Alternate Universe: How James convinced Lily that he wasn't actually the arrogant bullying toe-rag she claimed with help from her new best friend, Sirius Black, who is working to help Lily through difficult times.

Mr and Mrs Dursley of Number Four, Privet Drive, were happy to say they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. The same could not be said for their eight year old nephew, but his godfather wanted him anyway.

It was a normal day, until newly turned 8 year-old Harry Potter decided to make a wish upon the dog star (even though he'd almost never actually seen it) and set off something in the Unlabeled Room in the Department of Mysteries. Turns out Dumbledore was wrong. Again. It wasn't love that the Unspeakables were studying down there.

James falls ill shortly before leaving for Hogwarts and stays home from school for the day with Harry.

Harry was at Grimmauld Place and was feeling incredibly fond of everyone there. The dinner passed with laughter and joy, until Fred said something that Harry didn't know how to respond to. How should he? Nobody had ever said that to him before.

Who'd have thought that the man who tore them apart was the one who brought them together? Head Girl Lily Evans is determined to keep her distance from the Marauders but that's easier said than done when James is Head Boy and in love with her. It also doesn't help that she becomes rather attached to Sirius during an eventful Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson...

The Potter kids are curious why dear old dad never cooks bacon for them. Harry decides to show them the house he grew up in and introduce them to the Dursleys.
