 Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Age: 21 About me: In case the spelling and word usage haven't already given it away, I live in the US (DC). With that in mind, I do my best to keep my stories "British," but not having spent an extensive amount of time there, or any at all really, there is only so much that I can do. So please stop angrily ranting at me and others like me. I am much more strict about keeping my stories within the established canon. I have yet to encounter a fanfic that changed a major element of the canon and actually made it better, so I see no reason to keep trying. In particular, mad stories with an amazingly powerful/vampire/veela Harry irk me exceedingly, as do most stories that feel a need to give Harry a sibling. Even more irksome to me are stories filled with Weasley/Dumbledore bashing. Seriously, do you really think Molly Weasley would take that crap? In all honesty, I find that the best stories are those that take a minor character from the books or a member of the next generation and expand upon that. There's so much material there that there is really no need to be pouring smut all over what is already so good. |
