I’m a huge fan of literature, reading, and writing. I’ve enjoyed creative writing ever since I was little girl in elementary school. Now that I’m an adult I enjoy writing as a creative outlet because it allows me to take a break from business and academic writing, which usually consumes my time.

I haven’t written much in the way of fanfiction, but I have read a lot of stories, particularly related to Lie to Me and X-Files. I’m a huge Cal and Gillian (Lie to Me) and Mulder and Scully (X-Files) shipper. While I’m comfortable writing Lie to Me stories, Mulder, Scully, and the X-Files were my first loves and they are too profound for me to even dare tackle.

As a writer of these stories I always try to get the characters’ voices just right. I’m not so much a fan of AU so you will most likely not see those types of stories from me on here. I’ve also never really tried my hand in writing sex scenes but I try to never say never. I believe that there is great importance to building tension in stories so hopefully I’m able to succeed in doing that.

As a reader I enjoy stories that keep with how the characters are on their respective shows. I’m a fan of proper grammar, punctuation, etc. so it really irks me when stories are sloppily written. I also detest the usage of slang words such as “workin” as a substitute for “working” and things of that sort. Other than that I’m pretty much a fan of anyone who puts their thoughts out in the realm of the world wide web for others to see. It’s scary, man!
