![]() Author has written 3 stories for Spyro the Dragon, Hellsing, and Kung Fu Panda. Hello, and welcome to the page of an untalented writer. I'm just an odd 20-something that started attempting to write things years ago during a time in my life where I had an urge to me creative. Not to say that I don't now, but it's more of an afterthought, or something that doesn't get sparked often. My days start by sleeping in past noon, going to work at a job that I think is less than satisfactory, but I take pride in it, then head home to relax and fall asleep to repeat the process the next day. I live a sad little monotonous life that seems to only be changed by the seasons. Well, enough self-loathing its time to get to the point about stories. Ah, yes, a little hobby that flits across my thoughts every now and then, not to say that the stories are never on my mind. I write most of my stories with little to no planning, as can be seen by my complete lack of both content and information on any of my current content. I take them one step at a time whenever I get a grandiose idea, such as with either of my running stories, but lack the forethought to make a schedule of when chapters should go up, when to plan ahead, or when to even mention any news on them. So, I'll go ahead and take time here, as if I don't take it in my stories, to explain this and apologize to anyone who may stumble upon this little hole of creativity. Now, none of this is to say that I don't enjoy, or even take pride in my work that I do produce, its just that...it's not on my active 'to-do list'. Anyways, stepping away from this excuse to why I write and where these stories are going. Whenever the urge to write comes to me, I consider just what would be fun, or something that I feel I might have a take on, even if it has been done before. I enjoy writing and being creative, but most of the time I just don't feel like I could write well enough to entertain people, even if that is untrue, or I draw a blank on where a story could go. These blocks easily stretch weeks to months and refuse to move. This mostly speaks to my nature of letting things happen instead of moving to fix the issue. However I am stubborn enough that unless I feel like my story is incredibly poor, I will keep trying to chip away at them over time, or whenever the inspiration hits me. As long as a story is up, it is possible that I will work on it and at least try to keep it legible. Most of the time I have end goals in mind for my stories, but fail to see how to get there. As long as the story is here on my page, at some point in time I will work on it. I can't promise updates by a specific date, nor do I wish to discourage anyone from hearing from me at a random time. If ever I feel like I will never write on a story again I will post a final chapter, detailing where my plans for the story were going to go, what turns there would be, what powers I would have added, and any explanation that I feel would have been needed for an event. I will leave my stories open for as long as I wish to work on them, when I lose passion for them and feel that I will never touch them again that is when I will end them. Welp, that's just about every thing that needs to be said I suppose. Much of that is just drivel about why I don't write. I suppose it would be courteous to put in a summary. Feel free to ask questions and point out things if you feel like it, I will try my best to answer or comment on them if I feel that they are well thought out. Anyways, thanks for reading this poor failure of a writer's thoughts. | |||||||
